Some very unique ideas there, Gstroy - that, and you added an effective AA weapon which I really like. Assassins seems to be a significant perk that it feels like I'd love - will the HuD show "Melee Now! (X)" on core and not be there on hardcore or just never show it?
The Round Pack needs to severely hinder your speed, in my opinion. I wouldn't like the possibility (even if I'm not getting the game) of a guy shooting 500 rounds into my frontline whilst he moves - suppressing fire should be good enough.
Also, things like Flak Jacket or Juggernaught are quite frowned upon, giving someone another chance (or extending their chance) is going to seriously annoy some players and it was very apparent in CoD4.
Also, TV could be an actually good one to see as equipment - can it be hacked or booby trapped?
Yeah... I went there. <3
Smart Camo is.... An exceptional idea. I love that idea for the ability to be quiet. Although I must ask that Ninja be put into Tier 1, so you can have a Ninja, Assassin and Smart Camo class
Actually, to be fair you also have Stalker, Marathon and Ghost. It appears there is a little TOO much stuff apparent here - perhaps you'd like to buff up everyone in the game and combine 2?
And the Pro: is the combined effect of 2? An example is Assassin / Stalker: Drastically increases the rate at which you vault over objects and you are completely silent when in close proximity to an enemy. Pro: Allows you to knife further and counter melee attacks by pressing the melee button (Middle Mouse Click) (I changed that part to suit me) at the precise moment.
Also, things like Recon is awesome, same as Equipment Guru, and the ones that increase some basic stats - they're nice to see after all this time <3
Thanks, I left Flak Jacket and Juggernaut in because I feel with some of the new perks it balances quite nicely, and the round pack would greatly reduce your movement speed. As for the combining of Assassin and Stalker, I actual had thought of that, but I thought it would be more balanced if you did't have so much in one perk tier, it also gives you more variety in classes.
- Speed Shells: Connected shotgun shells for double barrel shotguns, used to load both rounds at once. (DB Shotgun)
Dude, most double-barrel shotguns don't have both barrels open to each other, you can't have shotgun shells connected and expect to fire them. They wouldn't go in the barrels.
most of these ideas r good, but unlikly to happen unless anyone here works with actyvision and who ever else they decided to work with. fyi the game is up for pre-order now

You could easily modify a double barrel shotgun to take shells connected by a small strip of metal at the end.

I plan on emailing Treyarch the list when I finish it, so they can use it in their next COD title, assuming the read the email. As for the preorder, I'll wait until I see more.
Taser: slows movements of an enemy and causes their screen to shake.
Sounds kind of like stun grenades and doesn't sound useful.
EMP Rifle: Allows you to either EMP enemy air support or EMP an area by shooting it at the ground or an enemy.
That sounds cool but you can already shoot down air support and they had radar jammers to basically EMP peoples radars.
- Under Barrel Taser: slows movements of an enemy and causes their screen to shake. (AR/SMG)
Again, its more worth it to just shoot them.
Range Finder Sight: shows distance to the point where crosshairs are located and shows if its in an effective range.(AR/Sniper)
Doesn't sound to useful.
- Round Pack: A backpack that carries rounds for an LMG that feeds directly into the gun. (LMG)
Basically extended mags or extra ammo for LMG
- Speed Shells: Connected shotgun shells for double barrel shotguns, used to load both rounds at once. (DB Shotgun)
Possibly overpowered but sounds good.
- Taser Shockwave: A Taser device similar to a Claymore, it slows movements of an enemy and causes their screen to shake.(x2)
This taser one sounds good.
- EMP Charge: Works like C4, but will take out radar, red dots/reflexes, etc. for a short period of time. Does a small amount of damage.(x2)
This shouldn't do damage.
- Tactical Mines: When placed it sets a small minefield of five feet across.(x1)
Hmm, sounds like an overpowered C4
- Infrared Goggles: Allows you to see enemies heat signature, even though some walls. The Ghost perk hides you from this equipment.(Unlimited Use)
It might be good but they already have a infrared scope
- Adrenaline: Increases speed and stamina while sprinting.(x2)
Is it worth it if this is already a perk?
- Gambler: Spawns you with a random perk from any tier (Tier 1 10%, Tier 2 45%, and Tier 3 45%) with Stopping Power, Juggernaut, Morale!, Shocker, and Flak Jacket at lower percentages. Pro: Increases chance of Stopping Power, Juggernaut, Morale!, Shocker, and Flak Jacket being selected.
Sounds like it could be good
- Grounded: Increases damage to Air Support. Pro: Adds an EMP charge to air-lock capable launchers, so when the flare goes off the first time, it immobilizes the electronics onboard.
Maybe it just blurs their screen slightly
- Airforce: Increases damage of Air Support. Pro: Increases rate of time for Air Support.
The air support already kills in pretty much one shot.
- Recon: Allows you to choose an extra kill streak. Pro: Sets one killstreak to three less kills.
Extremely overpowered
- Bomb Squad: Allows you to booby trap enemy carepackages. Pro: When you die your dropped weapon becomes booby trapped, killing any enemy who tries to pick it up.
That sounds unfair unless the weapon looks different.
- Hardline: Decreases kills needed for a killstreak by one. Pro: Allows you to reroll Carepackages and allows a second equipment slot (Press down on D-Pad).
A second equipment slot? Maybe for a different perk.
Juggernaut, Stopping power and Demo Man are disbalancive. I'm an average player and I hated those guys with SP. They can kill you with pair of bullets and you couldn't. Ghost pro is... silly maybe (no offence). You know you take Ghost to get rid of those stupid killstreaks. And the fact you need to work to achieve the pro version is irritating. May be replace the pro version with Smart Camo perk (because I find it unuseful, but interesting).
- Recon: Allows you to choose an extra kill streak. Pro: Sets one killstreak to three less kills
We already have Hardline. Probaly it would be better if the perk allowed to reachive killstreaks (I mean, every time you kill N people without being killed even if you have already achieved a killstreak you'll get another one?).
So it were ideas for equipment and perks, but what about the gameplay itself? So I suggest to: 1) Create new game modes. First of all, I like the existing modes for MW2 and BO, but we need more. Something special and interesting. As for me I would like such a mode where you and 9-10 other guys play versus 4-5 heavily (VERY HEAVILY) armed players (or maybe versus another 9-10, so the balance will be kept). You're defending a big house and your target is to defend it for a certain time. This house has several stages, levels. When you loose one level you go to further one. 2) Do something with maps. In MW2 maps were absolutely static. In BO some changings (like closing/opening doors) has appeared. I want maps in MW3 to be bigger, higher, more original and destructable. 3) More co-op mods. Zombies are awesome, but a little short and monotonous. Maybe like "Onslaught" in BFBC2 (which will never appear on PC): 4 people versus thousands of bots?
My fingers are tired. I'll write more, but anyway your list is very good.
And an emp rifle would be overpowered and the tasers would be really annoying
Alot of your ideas would be really overpowered if they were in game I can be bothered to go through them at the moment but from scanning alot of your ideas seem like you would like them but for you own use but when someone kills you with one you would complain saying there overpowered
And a double barreled shotgun's barrels aren't open to each other, so it's physically impossible to have two shells connected to each other, and that would speed up reload time by about .1 seconds, so congratulations for the bad idea.
I'm not saying two connected like this: ||(|= Shell) I'm saying like this: |_| (_=Small Strip of metal) and as for saying its not possible, its an actual thing, all it takes is a little grinding between the barrels and your good to go.
And an emp rifle would be overpowered and the tasers would be really annoying
... Seriously? Come on dude - if it'll be "Overpowered" balance it. lol
someone kills you with one you would complain saying there overpowered
It's CoD, it will work like this: "If a tree falls in the woods and no one is there, is there still sound?" ... instead it's like this: "If Treyarch makes a mistake and no one notices, is there still QQ?"
The answer to both is yes - that's bloody obvious.
By the way, I highly doubt Activision gives two ****s about your ideas, so make them up all you want, they will just use their own ones.
First, little bit intense language considering the tone I think you're giving. That, and I like these ideas more than what Activision makes (money whoring schemes? )
and that would speed up reload time by about .1 seconds, so congratulations for the bad idea.
It's called editing - do you think CoD is realistic? If so... wtf are you smoking?
And tasers don't slow people down, that's just stupid. You really don't know the effects of a taser, do you?
You realize an AA-12 is also an automatic grenade launcher? You know an Intervention or Barrett 50.cal could... quite easily take someones arm off? You know a shot in the leg would put you down for good? Not get shot 2 times and regenerate?
all it takes is a little grinding between the barrels and your good to go.
The small strip snaps or disconnects when the round are shot then, correct?

Thank you Highfire, and as for Activision not caring, its not their call, its SH or 3arch's. Did you know all of the wager matches came from the community? Didn't think so.
The small strip snaps or disconnects when the round are shot then, correct?
Yep, its actually quite a simple procedure as well.
And tasers don't slow people down, that's just stupid. You really don't know the effects of a taser, do you?
Tasers paralyze people, and if you were wearing bodyarmor, it would still affect you, just not as much, therefor slowing you down. All of my ideas are based on actual and factual things in the real world.
