I'm sure you've all heard the doom sayers stating that the world will end on Saturday May 21 2011. What is the basis behind this belief that the world will end on this day, what sets this apart from all the other doomsday theories, and where do you stand on this forecast of oblivion.
God did put in the Rapture request, but the Council of Heaven didn't approve as it would cause their Bank of Souls a lot of souls and Hell's Bank of Souls would've been Higher on the Angelic stock market. Unsatisfied God tried to cause a few natural disasters, but that request didn't go through either, it happened to be a holiday for the CED. (Center for Earthly Disasters) Satan was too busy being drunk to play Bad cop with us. (By bad cop I mean while God is going through all the trouble of putting in requests, Satan could've just did something. But because of Him being drunk his part in the rapture was skipped since he was unfit for duty) Gentleman...Ladies....Any questions?
He did get one tornado requisition form through. It was probably pork though...
He's put the date back another 5 months 'til October.
May 21st was suppose to be when everyone got raptured who is going to be raptured and October was when everyone who got left behind was going to die. Unless he has changed that now.
Yeah, October 21rst will come and go and he will be wrong for the 3rd time, seriously why is it so hard for this guy to admit he is wrong and basically knows absolutely nothing. Saddest part of this is all his deluded followers will still follow and give a load of money towards this. As long as he is getting money he is more than happy to keep predicting.
I mean we all could do predictions like this, such as I predict I will win the lottery on May 25th, and if it doesn't happen I'l just pick a new date.

You can ask that of pretty much any theist. The only major difference is he is putting a date on it putting his claims in a falsifiable position. What he is doing isn't any different then what most theists do, the ridiculous claims, moving the goal post, making excuses. We see these things all the time, it's just a bit more apparent in this case.
It's the same as saying "The end times are near" (with a date).
