I'm sure you've all heard the doom sayers stating that the world will end on Saturday May 21 2011. What is the basis behind this belief that the world will end on this day, what sets this apart from all the other doomsday theories, and where do you stand on this forecast of oblivion.
This sucked. I locked my self in my room with 2 friends and some airsoft guns, waiting for 6:00. With 30 seconds left, i ran out of my room and out of my house, yelled at the top of my lungs "repent for the rapture is upon us!" and ran back to my room. Then it turned 6:00 and nothing happened. It made me feel like an idiot. It might have helped if i was Christian but still.
I've posted a billion types here already. I don't think you need to hear my opinion again, but one more thing: if the rapture were to come tonight, I wouldn't be typing this right now. :P
Actually according to the bible, unless you are a kosher jewish male, who is a virgin, and one of the selected 1400, you would be right here with us.
Not in the Catholic rapture system. We believe that as long as you believe in God you're good. Besides, who's to say I'm not kosher Jewish virgin male? Hell, I can barely consider myself a virgin. :P
