This is the second installment of the Questions From an X Jew. I want to know that if Christians are monotheistic, and they believe in God, then how can they believe in Jesus being the Son of God. If that were true, than they would either be worshipping two gods or one and a half gods. Please understand that I am not trying to offend anyone. It is just that this question has been nagging me for a while and I wanted to see what the Christians on AG have to say. Thanks!
Acts 7:55,56Â But he (Stephen), being full of holy spirit, gazed into heaven and caught sight of God's glory and of Jesus standing at God's right hand, and he said: "Look! I behold the heavens opened up and the Son of man standing at God's right hand." The trinity was invented in the late 4th century. The New Testament was systematized to support the Trinity Doctrine. There is nothing that says the spirit, Jesus, and God are all one. It's like the sentence, "The boy threw the frisbee with a great effort and the boy's dog caught it firmly in his mouth." This isn't even close to saying the boy is the frisbee is the dog is the boy.
