Whats it now, October? You are speaking of the Harold Camping nut, correct? Not much more to say, besides the fact that insane people like this have been predicting the end of the world since....A long time ago?
don't worry, don't believe on those nutcases and its not going to happen, they only say those things in order to get everyone's attention or just to get on television...
I don't see any real distinction between what Harold Camping believed and any other theist. The only difference really is Harold put a date on his making it falsifiable. He even used a classic tactic of moving the goal post when it was proven wrong. Which again is nothing we haven't seen before from a religious person.

Not only religious persons do that, pliticians also love this tactic, I've also heard scientists using this. It is a common rethoric way to dislodge failure.
so is that guy gonna keep changing the doomsday date?
He's not changing it anymore. He said Jesus has come down, and he already has decided who is going. The date, in October I believe, is the final date which everyone who Jesus has chosen will die, or something. Anyways, I don't believe in it, because:
No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Just wait until after the "End of the world" didn't happen again. He will, of course, change it.
And if you are quoting the Bible, the rapture happened two thousand years ago and we all missed it. Remember how Jebuhz stated that this would happen within the life time of whoever? Well they are all dead, and I am still alive. I feel fantastic and I'm still alive. I'm doing science and Im still alive.

I love that argument I also heard it on many YouTube videos.
btw, how is the Rapture the end of the world? I thought it was an underwater city...
...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA what are you basing this off of? The "rapture" won't happen. Camping will change the date the last two times he missed. So in any case, your wrong.
Camping's first prophecy/"calculation" said that in may or whatever the date was, the righteous ones will be taken to heaven, and that in october the world will end. Now that the first date didn't bring anything special, he simply states that his second date will be the definitive one. He didn't even postulate a new date, at least that's how I understood it. Anyway it's a complete pipe dream; the fact that he is still here is unsettling him because he was so sure he'll go to heaven. derp...
