Yep, when nothing happened he just claimed it was a spiritual Rapture and the physical one will be in October. Very much like how when we got ourselves above the clouds God hanging around there suddenly became him being in some other dimension that we can't perceive.
Alright, here comes a true christian, i go to church and read the bible. And i hate this guy, he is destroying everything we believe about the end of times! In the bible, it says that no one will be able to predict the end of times! What does this idiot think he is doing!?!?!? Anyways, the rapture is that in the end, the anti-christ(the devil, or some people believe he is like the devils jesus/son) will come down and make everyone believe in christianity and that he is jesus and that they should all bow down before him. He will be a true "silver tounged devil". He will work up until he rules the world practicly, and he will make it so that if you want to buy, sell, or trade, you must mark "666" on your forehead, the mark of the beast. Before the antichrist drops down, all of the true christians are raptured. Basicly, they disappear and find themselves in Heaven as if they had died. The anti-christ, being as he has "a way with words" will make up an excuse for all of the christians disappearing. After the anti-christ is in power, anyone who wasnt christian, doesnt have the mark of the beast on, and is now a true christian, not a supposed christian worshiping the anti-christ, has to hide out and survive in this terrible time. Eventully, the real jesus(christ) will come down and there will be trumpets playing. He will take all of the new true christian up in heaven, and the devil, anitchrist, and every other non-true-christian will be locked into hell for eternity. Then the earth and heaven are "urified" from evil, and come together into a new world where god and angles and humans all live in peace, free from sin, in paradise.
Now, my description may have some holes, because, well, im only 11, and im not the best in writeing.
Also, i hate how people see all of these priests and such "corrupted" by the devil and sin, and what they do and they assume all christians are like that. People well say that a relgion with people like that isnt a good one. So please dont rant on how what i said wasnt true at all and that the world really ends when the sun expands. Because think about it, do you really think with the overflowing population, constant warfare, and all of these natural and man-made disasters, that earth really will last that long? Really?!?! Lastly, im sorry for that giant post of lots of stuff not retaining to "The Rapture".

Because your god destroyed the old world with fire, swords from his mouth, falling stars, and other catastrophes that some guy came up with on his pipe dream. So what passages lead you to believe this?
