Thats the quest that you got from my Oblivion character the madgod from the Shivering isles. It is kind of funny that Sheogorath makes references to his time as The Champion of Cyrodill and stuff.
No when I asked what I should do next I wasnt saying I was done the main story, infact I am only half way through it,I was just wondering are there any good sidequests I should do or stuff like that because if all I cared about was the main story I would have comleted that about 2 months ago.All I was asking were there any great quests I could do or just fun things to do in general.I will get to the main quest line but I would prefer to have completed more sidequests first. That is why I was asking.
Check the bar in the Whiterun inn with the redguard woman from time to time until you see a man named Sam. He isn't always at the bar, but when he is, talk to him. He's a helluva lot of fun.

Good ol' Sam can actually be found in any inn, though the first time I saw him was in Whiterun too.. but in other games he was in, like, Winterhold inn, or probably the first inn you enter after you're 'ready'.
Good ol' Sam confused the bloody heck out of me the entire time I did the quest. Luckily for me, and not my pocketbook, I was able to pay everybody off.
And is there a daedric quest which rewards you with a shield of some sort? I was loading some area, and the loading screen showed some interesting looking shield with caption speaking about the green dragon daedric prince...Peryite or something...and is that your reward for his quest? I've never actually taken the time from my busy homicidal spree to do it.
Did you guys know that it is actually against the law to drop your weapons in a town? Some guard came up to me and told me (not an exact quote obviously) "Hey you! You can't just drop weapons around like that, someone could get hurt! Do you understand?" At this point I think this is a bunch of bs so I pick the option that says "I do... but I don't care." So the guard threatens to put a bounty on me if I don't bribe him. I pick the option that (more or less) tells him to gtfo. *10 bounty added to Whiterun*. So I get kind of frustrated as he walks away from me. I ended up pickpocketing his arrows. Jerk.
Also, if you want to get more shouts, get quests from bartenders for dragon slaying. They're usually at walls.
Yes, Spellbreaker is a neat shield you get as a reward from Peryite's quest. It's simply a bit delicate to use for higher levels, because of the effect.. but just try it out yourself.
Yeah, guards don't like that. But once I dropped a few pieces of armour in the middle of an imperial camp and a soldier run up to me, asking if he could have them. I said sure, and gone they were.
I've also dropped a dagger once in Belethor's shop, he said something about how I shouldn't expect the dagger to stay there, probably that should show that he had an interest too... though the dagger is still there as of now, so I don't know...

once i droped a armor in town because i was to heavy. then some guard picket it up walked over to me and said. "here sir, you droped this" and he puts the armor back in my inventory. making me to heavy again. xD
