Is it possible the United States of America could fall as a country? My classmates and history teacher were discussing/arguing about this. If it is possible list reasons why and support it.
The US might even take itself over. By that I mean if the current government system is completely failing and the public majority really wants change, they could set up a 'rebellion' made of federal agents to make it seem like they're taking over and reforming the government, but it was planned.
if the usa keeps on bugging in confilts between 2 country's (excluding usa) or keeps helping rebels against dictators. and keeps making laws that need to be followed by evry country instead of their own counry. then eventualy something will break.
i myself hope that china and russia will get together and learn them a leson. they need 1.

I hope not! Russia and China are much worse then the USA (talking for example about human rights).
Is it possible? Sure, why not? Is it propable? I don't think so. The only real danger I see is the growing debt. Maybe you should keep that under control.
The US will fall. I don't think any time soon, but it will happen. Even if it lasts thousands of years, well, the sun will run down eventually.
Still, I think it'll happen sooner than that. Hopefully after the US prevents China from too much in the way of the type of global domination the US currently boasts. Say what you want about America, but at least it's not China. Or Russia, really.

usa has no business whit that. it's not their country. and by giving the rebels weapons you only make it worse. wich will end up in more deaths.

He asked for an example, not a half formed rant. The only US laws that should effect other countries are those regarding extradition, and economic policies.

While Russia and China would no doubt make powerful allies, you're ignoring a few simple things: The US is allied with both China and Russia. Should either of the aforementioned attack the US either together or alone, the allies of the US will respond in kind resulting in WWIII, eventually nuclear weapons will be used, the end result? The deaths of billions.
And you call the US bad, you're calling for the destruction of the planet.

By the same logic, no man should help another if he is in trouble. Just as one person should aid another subjected to assault, one country should aid another when subjected to, say, genocide. Whether the US's actions are for the better is a different subject entirely. However, the notion that the US shouldn't mettle with other countries on principle is unjust. Countries like the US wouldn't keep out of other people's business. Rather, they should interfere for the right reasons.

Are you certain? My unnamed adversary here seems to have forgotten the strength of ideas. While ultimately decided through war, the American Civil War was very much a war of ideas. Ideas that mobilized both the Union and Confederacy to action, and ideas that brought about the end of one. In fact, the precedent for the collapse of modern superpowers -- the fall of the Soviet Union -- indicates a non-violent approach. Regardless, I'm sure your words, unnamed quotee, were spurred more by a brief flash of cynicism than comprehensive philosophy.
But how do you take over a country? Resources? Pure force?
I don't think you really can until you either commit mass genocide and kill all the original citizens, or manage to beat them into submission, both which are pretty much impossible. It would be foolish to assume that simply occupying the country would do anything, I cite the fall of both the Roman, and British empires as an example.

Another side effect is the destruction of the ever so important ozone layer protecting us from harmful UV rays.
So I can confidently say that the end result not only remains similar no matter how you look at it but results in mass extermination of life on Earth.
