Being agnostic is the feeling that the truth/falsehood about things like God is unknowable, right?
So, you don't believe in a God, but you don't think its impossible for him to exist?
Fix that if I'm wrong Just wondering

Sounds like its not believing that God exists, but being open to the possibility if he were to.

Something like that.

Some forms of agnosticism is that. And that's also atheism because it's not a positive belief in a deity.

a-; without, not
gnostic; possessing knowledge of spiritual things
agnostic; without knowledge of spiritual things

theist; belief in a deity/s
atheist; without belief in a deity/s

"I don't know if god exists and I don't believe one does"= agnostic atheist
"I don't know if god exists but I believe one does"= agnostic theist
"I know god does not exist"= gnostic atheist
"I know god exists"= gnostic theist

Hope that helps.

Agnostic Atheist, for me personally, is that I don't believe in God and don't think there's proof to say otherwise.

Now, as I've stated somewhere in this forum... I'm a "Believe it when I see it". But even if I do, I don't think he'd be worthy of worship.

I think that of all the religions out there I would be best fitted as agnostic. I don't believe in any gods or Gods in particular per say, and find it impossible to prove the existence of a god, (or is it God?) but I do believe there is one out there. Which one you ask? I don't know which one is really out there, but I can say with nearly 100% certainty is that he doesn't give a **** about us. Look at all the poverty, crimes and villians of the world.

Actually, that would make you a deist. If I understand you correctly, you believe in a god you made up yourself, which is pretty much deism in a nutshell.

Of course your just as wrong as everyone else.

No...

Of course your just as wrong as everyone else.

Lets see, if I have this understood correctly your right and everone else is wrong? That's absurd

So you believe in a god that no one else believes in. A god that only you made up yourself. Am I wrong?

Gravity holds things to the ground, I am right and everyone who says otherwise is wrong. An object in motion stays in motion unless acted upon by another force, I am right and everyone who says otherwise is wrong. Why is it so insane to state that there is no god, I am right and everyone who says otherwise is wrong?

Yes you are wrong. I don't believe in a god I made up myself. I believe there is a god, but don't know which one is true.

Why is it so insane to state that there is no god, I am right and everyone who says otherwise is wrong?

The irony of that is you can say that the exact other way around. The way you said this;

Of course your just as wrong as everyone else.

Made it sound like you were the ONLY one to believe something and nobody else thought you were right. But you still thought you were right.

That's how I understood it.

So...You believe in a god, but you haven't found out which stories you like best?

The irony of that is you can say that the exact other way around. The way you said this;

Except everything I mentioned where scientific theories. The scientific theories state that there is no god, especially not one that has been created by the human imagination.

Made it sound like you were the ONLY one to believe something and nobody else thought you were right. But you still thought you were right.

That's how I understood it.

Well their are plenty of people who believe the actual theories as I do, but isn't that what you are doing? Or are you going "Well I am not crazy thinking that I am right and everyone else is wrong because there are a few million other people who believe the same thing! Not that I am arrogant or anything, like I would be if I was the only one who believed!". I don't see how number effects truth.

Okay, what supporting evidence do you have for this belief?
