Games. Minecraft has proven their art. Crysis has proved it's not a cash-in market. You have proven they're the best form of entertainment to be had.

But tell me, whether it was roaming Rapture and scavenging for enough materials to get the explosive Bucks to kill that Big Daddy,

Or battling Colossi after Colossi to try and save the one you love,

Or practicing long and hard before taking on "Freebird" on Expert,

Maybe exploring the vastness of the galaxy and evolving your species throughout time and getting ready to fight the Grox,

Building your Civilization from the ground up,

Conquering Rome for the name of Germania,

Smiting the 1000 Heartless

Living with your Porphyric Hemophilia throughout all of Oblivion (vampirism)

Perfecting your technique before flawlessly getting that one awesome Assassination

Gathering the force of Ironheade to liberate the land

Maybe it was something entirely different, but tell Your Friendly Neighborhood Satanist, what was the greatest journey you ever had in a game, where when you finished, you couldn't help but look back on all you've done to reach that point.

Just Cause 2 for YFNS; so many adventures across the nation of Panau, it was a stunt-filled journey I advise anyone to take. All the challenges, the memorable missions, hilarious accents, simply wonderful. 8^)

Oblivion is definately my favorite. I played that game so much. Fallout 3 also kicked butt. Bethesda tends to make great RPG's.
Fable 2 was really fun. I was grossly disapointed with Fable 3.
Shadow of the Collossus was one of my favorites for the PS2. That game was truely EPIC.
I also really loved the old Pokemon games when i was a kid and i still enjoy playing them now. 1st and 2nd generations are still the best.

Hmm well the ones with the best adventure is not cod, although they r great they get beat (in my opinion) by those Mario games. There pretty cool no matter how old u r. Also pokemon games r cool. I like the older ones as well, so I got soul silver and it was a great adventure game. I'm in the market for some new ps3 games that r good adventure games. I'm thinking assassins creed

I'd say Castle Crashers. It's a really good beat 'em up with cool weapons, combos, enemies, and bosses. I also liked those Crash Bandicoot games. But its been awhile since I've played one.

Hmm.... That's a really tough question. But here's my list, after qutie a bit of thought:

1. Spore. Once I actually 'conqured' the Space Age (I got so filthy rich that I got bored of blowing up planets :P ), It was almost humbling to remember back when my tspecies was just a little cell, fighting for survival in a tide pool..... It was honestly a good sense of accomplishment.

2. All of the Total War games, especially Medieval 2: Total War. I worked so hard to conquer the entire map, and after I looked out from every corner of the map and all I saw was my flag (I chose England), I couldn't believe I'd spent so much time and so many battles just doing all of that.

3. Red Dead Redemption. Once the game was actually over, (SPOILER: John Marston dies in a flurry of bullets), I actually realized how emotional I was at him dying... I actually felt kind of sad and angry at the same time, that's the first game I've ever had Irl emotions (except Anger/frustration, of course) over a storyline event.

I traveled to different eras of the world to build a squad of different characters from past, present and future. I then boarded a magical ship to thwart a a corrupted witch queen too blind with power to see her folly of controlling a cosmic entity. I then boarded a ship crafted by the Sage of Time to travel to the year 1999, which was the year of the apocalypse. There, the cosmic entity that was feeding off the earth since prehistory beckoned, where we did battle with it. The outer crust was blown off and we marched inside the entity itself. There, the inner heart of the beast expected us. Once we destroyed the heart, we were transported. Where we were, we did not know, but it was timeless and without form. One sole enemy awaited, and it was the Elder Race. The master plan of the Elder Race was to send these beasts to planets, absorb resources and DNA from unsuspecting victims, and transport the data to their planet. Their plan with our planet failed, however, because we had time on our side. The planet was saved, and hopefully that Elder Race was the root of the universe's problems.

If you know this game, you get a cosmic cookie.

Fallout 3, definitely, I first started playing it and went from side quest to side quest, then did the storyline, I got the hang of it and am now working on all the achievements including all 5 DLC ones, but it's definitely my favorite.

Half-life 1, 2, episode 1, episode 2. It is the greatest game over the world. Postapocalypsize style so cool in all cities.

Freakenstein, you are my hero! I was just discussing with a friend the relative competence of the prince of Zeal depending on his disposition towards you, either as ally or enemy.

I'd have to say my time playing Dead Space. Wandering the dark halls of the USG Ishimura knowing that if I get into a huge battle I'm screwed. Countless times of me only playing for seven minutes because I knew I was going to get killed if I go through a certain area. I remember my first necromorph kill. I punched it about fifty times before knowing how to reload. Then me spending an hour trying to fix the radio thing in chapter 9(ish). All of this leading to(SPOILER) Kendra's betrayal and the fight with the hive mind. My fight with the hive mind was epic since I was playing on hard he killed me twice until I used my fully upgraded plasma cutter on him. That was one of the best boss fights I had.

Assasin Creed is the one game that I enjoyed the journey the most. It was the one game that i really seem to get into the character and just lost some serious hours playing it!

Fable 1 is 100% my favourite adventure game of all time. The storyline is amazing and heart grabbing! The spells, the skills, the battle gameplay is breath taking and exhillarating. Fable 2 and 3 are just awful comparisons with it. They ruined it with the lack of skills they put into the game, the storyline is not even that good and they ruined the combat system. Fable 1 will always be the best of them all. I love how they added an extra finish to the game instead of killing the Jack of Blades and that's it, you actually kill the Dragon form of the Jack of Blades. Also you have a choice to kill the Guildmaster for a spirit which really makes you think. I also love how they added an armor system and evil / good system. Also another reason how I HATED the other 2 Fables. They ruined the Armor system. Fable 3 outfits look rediculous, and so did Fable 2.
Another thing I loved about Fable is how you can own or rent a house. Adding trophies to increase profit is brilliant. Also having the realistic store experience really brings reality and life into the game. The minigames are really amazing as well. Fable 2 screwed that up by having that system work off line and the payouts are so SMALL in Fable 2.
I pretty much all the details they put into Fable 1. They added real life relationship systems into the game like having intercorse, having girlfriends, marriage etc. AND there are certain actions that can change sub - stories which really makes you love the gametype. Adding the options to make PERMANENT decision choices make the game really fun. Such as killing whisper for lots of money or letting her live, killing your sister for the Sword of Aeons or casting the sword into despair (if you do get rid of the sword, there is a special way to unlock a sword with the same amount of power called the Angel's Tear I believe which makes me just LOVE the game)etc. The experience system is brilliant. Also I love how some of the skills effect your appearance AND how your morality of Good and Evil effects your appearance such as if you are good you have a Halo, but if your evil you grow 2 horns, you are bald, you have a lot of bugs flying around you, and you have a red evil aura. Also adding that attraction factor to your clothing really makes me addicted. The Demon doors are also awesome. As they give you between amazing armor and swords or crappy elexirs or potions by doing certain tasks. Just an exhilarating gameplay. So addicting it made me write all of this information down which even surprised me. Fable 1 will always live through the legacy of all the Fable games as the most respected, best, and probably the best developed game EVER! Lionhead is an amazing company I respect 100% after the release of the first Fable! But after 2 and 3, I lost some respect as they started to get lazy. But still. Fable 1 is incredible.

Wow... Probably the most I've ever written. :O
Lol how do you guys like my opinion?

My best journey started when I heard a rumor about a Strange Door. And when I went in I went to the realm of the Deadric Prince of Madness (one of my game idols) Sheogorath. And there I had to free the lands from the invading Deadric Prince of Order Jyggalag with his tons of Knighs of Order. When I was doing quests I also did a lot of fun quests like throwing a man to his dead. Also I became Sheogorath's champion and duke of Dementia. Where I ruled the evil side of the island. After a few more quests Sheogorath told me that in fact he is Jyggalag but he is punished by the other Deadra Princes because they were afraid of his growing power. When I saved the Shivering Isles from the knights of Order I freed Jyggalag from his curse and I became the Madgod instead. Ruler of the Shivering Isles and went from a mortal to a Deadric Prince.

Best DLC ever made for the best game to date Oblivion
