That sucks for you about the kindergarten class, unless you live in spain or somewhere. I recently have took to capitalizing every start of a sentence, and adding a capital I in the middle of sentences on these forums to sound better and be better recepted, alot of people take grammer and spelling as a sign of age and maturity, so I try to do my best in writing (or typing).

would you guys think yourselfs a mature?

Those who think of themselves as mature are immature.

I thought Armor Games was a place for fun, not for being made fun of for a reason like finishing your answer quicker or maybe if the person has a learning disorder...

Amen.

would you think of your self a mature child if at the age of 2 and 3 you wandered of intothe world with no supervivion and camr back unharmed?

No, not at all. That is simply luck. Maturity is the ability to make logical decisions and have self control. Which a toddler has barely none of.

How do you figure that reasoning? But Ialready thought that's how you would percieve that if I said yes. But it's almost like the question "are you insane?" if you say yes, then you probably not since u have enough sence to think your insane.

The ghetto is a hard place to grow up in, it's very easy to **** your life up if you go with the wrong crowd in there.

Yea you are quite lucky you got out of there. I would say you were more accustomed to fending for yourself, but I wouldn't say mature just yet.

I think what he meant is that immaturity tends to manifest in a way that many of those who are immature believe that they are mature. It's definitely something I've seen a lot of. AS for insanity, plenty of insane people are well aware of what they lack, although there are of course many others in denial. Kind of like someone being in denial about being immature.

Every place has it's challenges, whether it's a run down ghetto or a wealthy suburb.

I don't think maturity is something that one can really recognize in oneself.

I lived in middel class suburbs, not many challenges there.

You can recognize that you are more mature than another person by comparing yourself to them, but calling yourself mature with no real scale to compare yourself to, no. I think whinning is a sure sign of immaturity btw.

There's a type called "happily insane" where they are so insane they don't relize they lack any characteristics that other people have and so are happy, not disturbed at all by their own insanity.

Then you are quite lucky. But it's not just a location that can challenge a child. There are many factors, both genetic and situational, that can make life challenging.

I don't think comparisons can really be used to tell whether you're more mature or not, as the one comparing has somewhat of an unfair bias towards themselves. Obviously, if you compare yourself at eighteen to a four year old, you could probably sense some maturity gaps, but when comparing yourself to others, there is no way to know what another is thinking, and you can't assume to know their reasons for acting as they do, nor their wisdom or ability to think in a mature manner.

I don't think the last part of what you said applies because I made friends with people who are as mature as me or more and am not friends with people who think fart jokes are still funny.

Well, it depends what kind of friends you make obviously. Everyone has an immature side to themselves.

I agree with you, because all I am doing is assuming that everyone acts the same 24/7 because thats what I do.

Okay its seems like some mudslinging is being used ... Yay politics I dont even know if I was being serious or not about politics.
Okay back to the immaturity is based on many factors it seems on a different grading scale when gauged by other people like the many ways of scoring credit.
So I think being fully mature is hard to do since its based on so many variables.
What is with all the off topic generic insults which I consider kind of immature.
Being immature can actually have a negative affect on teachers for example my chorus teacher has had to yell to get people to be quiet and she was respectful and never even said shut up, but she has in two years almost permanently lost her voice to to the strain on her vocal cords that might have made doctors have to remove part of her vocal chord.
