If God were proven beyond any doubt, if God literally appeared out of the sky to all of the world to see and proclaimed him/her/itself to be God, would you accept it? Would you be able to toss your previous beliefs aside and accept the fact that there would be a God in your life?

I would after a bunch of tests to see if he/her/whatever was really god. Test all the mystical beliefs that are said in the bible and if they can do it all i would accept it

If I got proof that god exists, yes of course I'd believe him. I concurrently believe in the Big Bang Theory simply because it has the most amount of evidence and God has none is all. I would willingly believe in him if he was outrightly proven to exist; I'm a very open-minded person, see?

On the seventh Day God rested[...] On the tenth day God got wasted again and created the immunodeficiency virus causing failure to the immune system he created the day before.

Exactly.

I think Atheists should create a Bible that is corrected but with one major flaw and then call it divine inspiration and see how many Christians would believe it.

Not many Christians would. Most believers do not listen to us Atheists when it comes to why their religion is wrong or similar to that. But then again, Atheists don't listen to them either...

Corrected as in all contradictions and just general uncorrect things removed except for one, or one completely blacked out? I can't tell which you mean...

then call it divine inspiration and see how many Christians would believe it.

I don't have to try it to know how they'd react. Most would call you stupid and ignore you. Another good chunk would try to "enlighten" you. Then about 2-3% would try to kill you for blasphemy.

personally i think god is an abstract essence rather than a physical being so this wouldn't be possible in my opinion.

Sorry to nitpick, but what do you mean by essence and what is god an abstract essence of?

Ah, you ninjae'd me. Yes, essence is something that philosophers have struggled to define for millennia, I'll like to hear what you think about what it is.
