Today is the day that, or so camping claims, the world ends. every one Die's today because the world ends. Or is this just another one of his wild theories. I cant help but laugh at this predicament.
well harold camping still hasn't made a comment in public yet. but his radio station is broadcasting. this is what they had to say sofar.
I know that many of us are deeply disappointed that Christ did not come.
As far as I can tell most Christians were joining in with the atheists and laughing at it.
encouraging listeners not to lose hope and to keep supporting the radio network through donations.
And that's the part he's really concerned about.
the world will end someday yes. probably by the sun dying or asteroid hitting us as is stated befor. but it's probably not a 1 day event. more like a doomsmonth or doomsyear. that we will be seeing coming whit actual visual proof.
If we are talking about the end of the world as in our own extinction then there are a few other possibilities as well.
A few people who believed doomsday would come may 21st aked my preacher,"Are you getting ready for the end of the world?" and the preacher said," No sir. I am getting ready for my sermon tommarow."
Still I dont want to look like a six year old typing.
if you actually put some effort into the spelling you will be fine.
there are many possibilities to the end of the world (I believe thats when earth will no longer be able to support life). meteor, solar flare, global warming, etc. we shouldn't be concerned about that now, but what we should be concerned about is tommorow. If we lived more in the moment, people like camping wouldn't exist (or his followers would be vast). right now we should just be glad we are all still breathing, and get on with our lives.

Many Christians were laughing because of Camping's clear inconsistency. The Bible says that no one can know the time or date of Christ's return, so to use the Bible to try to calculate the time or date means you're saying that the Bible is wrong. That means the source that you based your calculations on is wrong. Christians do believe that Christ will return to judge the living and the dead, but we should stop trying to figure out the time and date and do what Jesus told us to until then.

look @ mage's video (atheist for a day) atheist laugh at christians all the time because they believe in god. a character from the book. and they use the same book as evidence for it's existence. it's kinda the same.
I watched about half of it, and I think I understood the point. Yes, Christians believe in an almighty God and a risen Savior that will return and everyone will be resurrected and judged. We believe in the supernatural and the claims of the Bible. The question, then, is if the Christian worldview is logical. How would you answer that and what? What standards would you use to determine if it is logical (and true)?
Consider this: the Bible explains why we can trust our senses. We were created by God, in the image of God, and given certain commands. It stands to reason then that our senses would convey things that actually respond to reality. However, if we are simply the result of chance processes, then how can we be sure that our senses correspond to reality?
