As you know things have been going for muslims for last decade.All the discrimination and hatred they have been facing. Led to the rise of the term Islamophobia. What r ur thoughts on it.
Than we just cant change our religion to make it more acceptable and the way I see it a war is inevitable.
Theres a difference between wars we can't prevent and killing someone because they insult one of your prophets. I don't see how an insult could possibly justify murder. I would never kill anyone because they made fun of jesus. They could burn a picture of Jesus and pee on it. But I still wouldn't lift a finger. For many reasons. I'm fairly sure Jesus would not want that, who would? Second, murder is a big deal. It's not fair to the person, and I'm sure you think it wouldn't be fair if it happened to you or someone you know. But not all muslims belive this, and the biggest problem is that people think they do. People generalize, sterotype, and that is something I hate. I try my hardest not to do that, because when you do, you just end up with problems like we have right now.
very true and besides. you dont have to change a religion. im guessing islam doesnt say you HAVE to kill someone who disrespects your religion. if im not wrong according to christianity you could kill gays for being gays. the religion itself hasnt changed but no one does that anymore.
punisher i read that previous quote, and yes I am religious. I am a mormon, one of the most disrespected protestant sects, and proud of it. I hate how people insult jesus, or the prophet joseph smith, but that gives me no right to kill anybody. the world has changed from the days of lawlessness and corruption where that rule was necessary. when you continue to practice it, you make the religion more despised, and the people inside it more alienated. I can personally tell you how much hardship the mormons have faced due to religious persecution, but we never kill anybody, ever. to do so would make people hate mormons more.
now let me ask you, from one persecuted religion to another, is your life so meaningless that you can throw it away because somebody is practicing one of their freedoms? because if it is, this debate is no longer necessary.

people don't follow that rule, your religion's expectation that people outside of it will follow this rule is insane, and free will is compromised when the guy is killed for it (reminds me of the thought police from george orwell's 1984).
if you think people won't complain if somebody is trying to kill them over something so asinine, then islam needs to change that doctrine immediately.
besides, you can't kill everybody who disrespects your religion, because if you do, then more will disrespect it. the only way to end it is to kill all non-muslims (we out-number you so don't get any ideas).

that's a logical fallacy. once again it's like saying you have free speech rights, but you can't use them.
people insult what they hate, and they hate what they fear. they will fear you a lot if this rule is continued.

theres a better way to stop the media from doing so. you can educate them instead of killing them.
think of it this way, if you did something wrong, would you want to get killed for it, or would you like to learn what you did wrong, and know what not to do in the future?
