As you know things have been going for muslims for last decade.All the discrimination and hatred they have been facing. Led to the rise of the term Islamophobia. What r ur thoughts on it.
im talking about normal muslim sitizents here. they are as equal as any jewish/christian sitizent. they get the same rights (if not more) and you can see them anywhere. i see many of them everyday. actually, i tested the eyes of 6 of them just this day :3
... ... ...this now seems to be a debate that only two people are involved in. so I will come in to open the doors for others.
in the case of sharia law, it was a good Idea back when it was first around, but now it's forgotten to factor in the political correctness of modern society, and the term "shades of grey" have been overlooked.
there are more crimes in america, not because the punishments are less severe, but because people are not wanting to be educated and become a fine citizen with his own views and intellect.
the sharia law bases itself upon the belief that all people are evil, and will do evil if given the chance. the punishments are really more of a threat blown way out of proportion. no offense justifies amputation simply because the laws of today are more based on giving people second chances and a chance to become a good citizen again. the sharia law doesn't allow second chances, which is why americans, and many other westernized countries are appaled by it.
If there is no scond chance most of people wont try for first
see, thats the biggest problem. what if the person who commits the crime is a teenager who doesn't (at the moment) know what he is going to do with his life. if he gets no second chance, then he is resigned to a fate worse than death. being a pariyah, and rather useless to society, before he has a chance of proving himself. this kid may actually be rather intelligent and good-natured, but his temporary disdain for the rules (that all teenagers face in their time) will undermine his future beyond repair.
i guess i can bring this up in this topic (srry didn't read any posts here since my last.)

...really off topic devil. I'm not going to lie, it really has nothing to do with the current part of the discussion.
I have to admit you never hear the good stuff about what Muslims do in America. That said I think it is more important to focus on the bad so that Islam corrects itself in those areas. If we just talked about all the good stuff then nobody would care about the woman who got stoned to death.
