K, so, this is a general discussion where people share tips about surviving the Zombie Apocalypse. The only requirements here are to remember how far the nearest weapon/grocery store is, or how populated the place you live in is. The larger the spot, the more the zombies. So, you can discuss your basic plan about how to survive, but first, ask yourself some questions, like:
1: What kind of resources do I have?
2: What kind of weapons are available to me now?
2: Where will I go?
Tell about what your main weapon would be (it doesn't have to be a gun), or where you'll go, or if you can improvise.
My main weapons would have to be a shotgun (easy handling, can take out numerous zombies in one shot) or a rifle, and my melee weapon would be a crowbar or an axe, and secondary would be a kitchen or jack knife.

If they are alive then they still have flowing blood. If their blood still flows, a good chest shot is all you need. They'll bleed out and a brain without blood is the same as no brain at all.
There's a chemical in the zombies' brains that keep them alive... They need their brains, but they don't need any blood going to it. Cutting their head off and destroying the brain is the only way to kill a zombie.

I believe he's talking about the weak, fast zombies infected with a mutated strain of rabies.

That shouldn't matter. without blood in the body muscles won't have the ability to move.

Heashot. I think shooting someone in the head is the best way to ensure that they are dead. Shoot them in the chest whilst they're running at you and then they fall on the floor writhing in pain. Then walk up to them and shoot them in the head. Blood and brains squirt out and they die. If there is a horde you pick up a cannon and start firing the rate of fire will tear them to **** and then you can finish them off with headshots. Lovely jubbly!

Hack into them with a garden rake. Blood and brains splattered everywhere. Shoot them in the head with a shotgun. Blood and brains, and skin and liquid flesh and skull fragments and brain juice everywhere.

If they are moving fast. Swing with a long range melee weapon like a baseball bat as opposed to a knife and break their ankle then run back a bit and pick up a sniper rifle. Then aim through the scope and achieve a headshot!

No. The chemical affects the brain. From there it travels throughout the central nervous system. Then without blood they can still walk because the nerves are being stimulated by the chemical in their central nervous system and brain. The only way to kill them would be to destroy the brain or cut their head off. Or cut out every single nerve in the body which is painstaking and pointless when a good old fashioned headshot oughtta do the trick...

Okay... or you could just shoot them in the chest so they bleed to death. They're not "real" zombies yet. They're still human, they just like to kill you.

Yeah, but as they are turning manic, they will turn into a zombie. If you shoot them in the heart they will die and turn into a zombie and eat you. Therefore you have to shoot them in the head. You could shoot them in the chest first and then walk up to them and shoot them in the head whilst they're on the floor before they turn fully zombie. But you still need a headshot at some point...

They need the blood to deliver oxygen to the muscles. Without oxygen theres no ATP and no energy means no movement.

Like I said the chemical that poisoned them stimulates the nerves. This causes the cells to synthesise ATP in the mitochondria and this allows the brain and muscles to work.

But the cells can't make ATP without oxygen. They can't get the oxygen without blood flow. So even if the zombie is alive it won't be able to move any of its muscles. It'll just lay on the floor and decompose.

The oxygen enters through the lungs and travels through the bloodstream in a human. But the chemical in zombies replaces the oxygen in the mitochondria so it can still synthesise ATP for energy.

Okay, the problem is what type of zombie we're talking about.
