why do you guys question the bible when you hardly have an idea what its about i mean i doubt any of you guys have actually read the bible let alone have room to talk against it.
more often than not, though, christians try to understand all off the Bible because it is a very important part of their life
Uh, I'd say it's quite the opposite. Christians only look at the claims of all loving God and Jesus, they completely freaking ignore the rest of the Bible.
Atheists, on the other hand, get into arguments about it and research it and read the Bible, not have specific verses read to them by a biased pastor who is going to try and put everything into the best possible light.
unicorns and fairies are a lot dirrerent than God. there is no heaven or hell when you are dealing with such things.
I have no fear of going to hell for two reasons.
1) I don't believe it exists.
2) An all loving god as so claimed by Christianity wouldn't be so petty as to condemn people to eternal torture because they simply didn't believe he existed without proof.
The second point changes or dissapears depending on who i'm arguing with though.
beside it's not a choise to believe in god or not. even if i wanted to believe. i know i can't because of all the info i know that is contradicting whit the story of the bible. and since there is no proof for the bible and there is proof for the other info. i put my money on the other info and not believe in god. i will be unable to forget this info and so i will never be able believe in god.
if u were reading i said that God will help you believe. what is the point of being an atheist when there is so much at stake???even if you are not sure if God exists or not, you can try to believe rather than going to hell if you are wrong.
On average of general religious knowledge of 32 questions atheists scored the highest answering an average of 20.9 questions. On questions of Christianity specifically they averaged in at third (answering 6.7 out of 12 questions)
I am guessing the pew reasearch center, who designed the questions, were making the answers according to their beliefs(most likely were atheists) and therefore atheists automatically get more "right" than christians
There are atheists who really did try to believe yet still ended up as atheists
did you somehow read their mind and know for a fact that they tried to believe? i think not. and then there are the atheists who actually tried to believe and succeeded

How the hell does one make biblical questions biased in favour of Atheists? For a start there's no set 'doctrine' or group of beliefs that atheists share - the only common thing is the lack of belief in deties. Also, these are questions ABOUT THE BIBLE, Christians should have more knowledge of them no matter the questions that were chosen.

I don't have to, because I was one of them. However there are others who have said how they tried so again no mind reading needed.

most christians do have more knowledge of the bible, but the survey makes it appear that they do not because the questions were made and answered by atheists(who do not believe in the bible) and the answers were not all correct

Lawl. What answers weren't correct? And any question about the Bible should be in favor of those who believe in it regardless of what the question is, that's why you go to Church every Sunday and have Bible Study and Sunday School, is it not?

Now your just pulling this out of your rear, It was an impartial survey.
if u were reading i said that God will help you believe.
were was god when my mother teached me what her believe was? were was god when i readed the bible? were was god when i needed him because there was a gun pointing at my face? never a single sign of god. this argument is going nowhere if you just keep blindly thinking that it is a choise. open your mind and learn what life realy is about plz.
what is the point of being an atheist when there is so much at stake???
whats the point of being a christian if the muslims are maybe right? maybe it's because you think that there is much at stake, that you blindly believe the bible.
but i will never know that. you sound prety silly to me anyway.
the answers made by the pew research center. what else would i be talking about? going to church every sunday would decrease the number right we get on a survey made with incorrect answers
