why do you guys question the bible when you hardly have an idea what its about i mean i doubt any of you guys have actually read the bible let alone have room to talk against it.
the answers made by the pew research center. what else would i be talking about? going to church every sunday would decrease the number right we get on a survey made with incorrect answers
Are you basing this on how you think atheists couldn't possibly score so high otherwise? It seems to me your the one using a bias here.
right next to you, probably was the reson your mom told you about him
Do you mean litterally right next to her or no?
obviously God delivered you through that situation because you are typing right now
Obviously you're attributing the end result to God with no reason whilst not even knowing the entire situation.
because the muslims may be right and they may not be right.
The same goes for Christianity as well does it not? And every other religion out there. So really, you've got about a 1/7000 chance of being correct if you want to look at it as "why not believe?"
because (most)atheists do not understand the Bible as well as christians

that is exactly what i am doing, because (most)atheists do not understand the Bible as well as christians
god is a imaginary friend? we all know that imaginary friends are not real right?
probably was the reson your mom told you about him
no, my mother told me because she wanted me to know what her idea was. she always has let me compleetly free the track my own conclusions, and to discover the world on my own. if god wanted me to believe in him. then he made my mother push her believe into my brain. wich she luckly didn't.
obviously God delivered you through that situation
obviously not. because 2 members of my team have died right there and then. why didn't god safe them? 1 of them even already believed in him. (age 21 and 26)
because the muslims may be right and they may not be right.
so you also might not be right about your god. and all the arrows/evidense/logic thinking points to god not existing. how can you say there is much at stake if your not even sure if your following the right religion.
Obviously you're attributing the end result to God with no reason whilst not even knowing the entire situation.
i dont have to know the entire situation to know that he is still alive and God was not leaving this to chance

in my eyes i have a 100% chance of being correct and even if i am not (which i probably am) there is too much at stake in my opinion for you to not believe, even with a 1/7000 chance
did you somehow read their mind and know for a fact that they tried to believe? i think not.
I was a hardcore believer as a kid, but diverged due to a lack of feeling closer to anything or really needing to feel closer. Usually the only things that keep people in religion is tradition (parents believed it and taught/brainwashed you), fear (of hell or not being accepted), or helping with emotional pain/problems (like a placebo, if you believe enough in it, it will seem to help).
i said that God will help you believe.
Then he would've set me straight when I started straying from the flock. He did nothing.

I didn't think the questions on the quiz linked above were rigged. I got a 10/15 or 67% (higher than any religious sect polled in the national survey) and I haven't practiced religion in over 10 years.
Here's an online survey by them, take it and tell us what you get, then tell us if any of the answers were wrong
Well I took the survey, I took it before so I don't really think my score counts. But anyways, some of the questions were based on other religions. You did mention this, I'd just like to point out that it isn't really the best way to see if they're good on biblical knowledge. Unless you ask the person if they got the questions related to the bible right.
Also they asked for catholics whether the bread and wine symbolizes jesus's body and blood, or whether it really is. Depending on where you go to church you will get different answers. Some catholic churchs are extrememly strict, and others are more modern. The last church I went to had a priest who was very nice, and would say that the bread and wine represnted the body and blood. So that could vary.
Either find some source that has a study that shows that Christians on average score higher than Atheists on questions about the Bible, or don't bring it up.
