why do you guys question the bible when you hardly have an idea what its about i mean i doubt any of you guys have actually read the bible let alone have room to talk against it.
i dont have to know the entire situation to know that he is still alive and God was not leaving this to chance... obviously so. you are still alive, your teammate is in heaven, and your other teammate would not have believed anyway, so he was already going to hell
Any proof to say it wasn't left to chance? Why would God allow a true believer to be viciously slain instead of another atheist? God likes atheists more? And if he is truly loving, why burn people eternally in fire (if that's the form of hell you're talking about)?
in my eyes i have a 100% chance of being correct and even if i am not (which i probably am) there is too much at stake in my opinion for you to not believe, even with a 1/7000 chance
And if you did something that God detests that you never read (a ton of books of the bible were lost or thrown out, so there was likely something important in one of them), you'd still go to hell anyway.
