I apologize if it's in the wrong section, wasn't 100% sure where to put it.

Anyways, what are your opinions on premarital sex? (and please, if you're christian, don't base your opinion on what 'God said', Your personal opinion would be most thankful)

I think it's perfectly fine for 14+ year olds to have sex, but only if they do it smartly. If my son/daughter came to me and said 'Dad would you mind if I had sex?' I'd probably say something between the lines of being smart and using contraceptives. I myself lost my virginity at age 16, it's really not a big deal, just be smart about it, and avoid children (unless financially and mentally prepared for a child) and especially STD's.

You'll understand how summoning it is once you get the chance to do it.

And as I said, not that big of a deal

Sure I have no problem about people having sex when they want to have it.

I'll just guess you're still a kid.

Well if you're christian then you probably don't have many personal opinions, considering that you would have to follow the bible, not yourself.

I see an awful generalization here.

Well, I would say yes it's alright. But wait till one is legal, i.e 18.

You see them too?

Well, honestly most kids want sex younger than that. And they will get it younger than that. And there's a legal age for sex?

Not all Christians are soppy morally upright people as portrayed in his point.

Yes, 18 or it's statutory ****; which is a crime. Don't ask me why.

Also guys, before this explodes, let's differentiate between premarital sex and teenage sex.

I know, I am christian.

Ah, ok. Now I see what you mean.

Right. So I think premarital sex is fine. If couples don't want to wait to get married, or if they don't want to get married at all its their choice. I see no reason why others should be able to control what happens in their bed. (as long as it's not **** or something like that. Then one of the partners isn't giving consent and thats no good.)

as far as I can tell, it's totaly fine what age it is as long as both sides give consent (to prevent ****).

Premarital sex is completely fine because they are both adults and can decide how much of their urges they want to control.

teenage sex is also fine, but I wish they would control themselves a little more. I can't tell you how many times school drama appeared because "he banged her, but we were meant to be together (even though we've been dating for a month)"

12? There has to be a certain level of maturity and understanding of the consequences that can happen.

Teenage sex comes under the bigger umbrella of premarital sex; yet they aren't adults.

this is something that has been debated in all religions, governments, societies etc. it depends. if you go downtown and decide "oh im a bit horny why dont i go down to the strippers" theni think its totally. wrong. also (i know this is off topic) but i disapprove of group sex. anyway i think its ok as long as it is kept secret and there is protection as long as the relationship has been going of for more than 1 month

Human desire is not a sin. It's a biological phenomenon.

when I saw that, I remembered how the legal marrying age in mexico is 12. don't ask how I know that.

on a lighter note, if we want to prevent teenage prenancies, we can just mix bromide into all of the many energy drinks that teenage boys drink. that will sterilize them until they stop drinking it. they usually quit when they get older.

0_0...what an odd thing to say out of the blue.

lol, try telling that to the horny teenagers.

From what i've heard, a teenagers brain isn't fully developed, particularly the part of it that you use for decision making. Teenagers are more prone to make a stupid decision and have unprotected sex, wether it's sober, drunk, or under the influence. I have nothing against premarital sex, just teens are more prone to screw it up. It sort of fits under the category of a drinking or gambling age.

Like a drinks company will allow you to. Also, tempering with chemicals tends to end badly.

just teens are more prone to screw it up.

Excellent pun.

the age the brain stops developing is roughly 25. any drugs and/or alcohol before that has a definite chance of preventing development in key areas.

they are, but not all teens are like that. some are fairly intelligent, and know the risks involved in those acts. I am part of that minority.
