i know it's not tradition in usa but in europe we think twice befor getting involed in a war.
....Read your American History. The Americans on both World Wars took quite a long time in deciding when to go to war, with some decisive poking thrown in (Sinking of Louisiana, and bombing of Pearl Harbour).
since they are on our land we do not allowe instandly that they are shot from here. we wont instandly invole ourself in a war wich we he no link whit.
I'm greek and the last think we want is war! Our econimics are very low, and your talking about war? I don't say World War 3 is imposible, but not with Greece.
i really wouldn't want a world war three to be declared. thousands of people die for passion of politicians. but if something like that would happen, i agree that it would start at middle-east.
If there will be a WW3 it will be something like this. Country 1 sends bombs to country 2. Country 2 panics and sends them to 1 and 3 Country 3 thinks : WTH does it matter and fires at random countries,

I think another World War is very unlikely. Most of the countries with the most powerful militaries are (at least loosely) allied with one another, and a weaker country definitely isn't going to declare war on a more powerful country. Also, I can't see the world getting sucked into a conflict between two weaker countries, especially with the economic climate. Speaking of economics, the world as a whole is just so economically interdependent that a war between core countries could have huge effects. Oh, and there's also the fear of a nuclear war to take into account. No one wants to start a nuclear war, which may be a given in modern warfare. Just my opinion.

i think it will be more like this:
country A & B are in a conflict over w/e. country A has lots of other countrys behind itself because of political agreements. country B has less countrys behind it but is very powerfull and rich. country B will go to country C (and maybe D) wich are located next to country A. and country B will promise country C & D lots of money if they help attack on country A. (and maybe other countrys wich are supporting country A)
this way lots of countrys all around the world will get involved in 1 war. now if they all are also fighting on different places all around the world aswell, we have a WW3.

it is BS. germany and franch wont declare war over that. boycoting them will hurt them more. and typing all in CAPS looks immature and is generaly considered SPAMM!!

I have not heard about France and Germany moving towards war with Greece and Italy, but I believe these notions to be false.
I'm not 100% on this, but I think that the declaration of war would pull another pre-WWI scenario with a split, this time throughout all countries, and just as unbalanced.
ww2 is not even 100 year ago. the memorys are still fresh. and i'm sure the politicians have enoufg sense to not start a war again after such a short time.
