I saw somebody say this on a thread a while back, and just remembered it, "It would be better to reign in hell that serve in heaven."
That's not word for word, and I don't remember who said it, but that is the just of it.
This seems ridiculous to me for several reasons. First, no one will reign in hell, not even Satan himself after God casts him back to hell permanently in the second coming. In hell, you will not have any other human contact, and be forever tortured with the worst pain imaginable, and every second will feel like an hour, and every day like a year. In heaven, you will be a servant of God, but you will want to serve Him. It will not be like being a slave, heaven will be perfect, everything you've ever wanted times ten, with no pain, sadness, or boredom.
In my opinion, that statement is horribly false, but what do you guys think?
There's no logic behind this. If you're going to die for your country or die in a bombing raid, why would you choose a place of fire and smoke and suffering?

actually i will still go to heaven but will always b longing to go in the battle field again.
Only people who have never been in wars glorify such a horrible spectacle.
Actually our soldiers don't come home with this post traumatic stress disorder and stuff cuz they know what they fight for. I'm not saying war is a good thing but dying for ones country, for ones religion is the most glorified hing I can think of.
The only country I see below pakistan Which is currently active in some war is russia. As for African countries, Statistics can not be relied upon bcoz of lack of sources. Still we are better than USA.
That's not saying much, seeing the USA has to take into account the victims from the Vietnam, Iraq and Afghan wars.
And no, Myanmmar, Nigeria, the Congo, Ethiopia all are embroiled in conflicts now. Plus the stats are from the UNWHO, a rather reliable source, which refutes your stereotype of Africans.

So you think the terrorists who flew the planes on 9/11 had glorified deaths?
Besides I would think any religion that is truly worth while would find glory in living for ones religion rather than dying for it.

Doesn't matter it still disproves your previous statement.

Now, aren't we deviating?
And we have to take in account victims of War on terror , drone attacks, "friendly fire", and suicide attacks. In short Pakistan is in the middle of worse of the conflicts world ever seen.

Nope. Compare the likes of the war in Pakistan now with WWI, WWII, the Napoleonic Wars, the Vietnam War, Korean War, The Hundred Years War, The Crusades and you will see why it isn't.

Rephrase:- Pakistan is facing one of the worse conflicts of 21st century.(I got a little emotional back there)
Dudes, you're going way off-topic... though it remembers me of a quote:
"War is sweet to those who have no experience of it, but the experienced man trembles exceedingly at heart on its approach." -Pindar, ancient Greek lyric poet

Why is that so? You think you will take your war drive with you in your afterlife? Don't you believe that you will strap off such things when you die? And what does it have to do with the difference between heaven and hell? Do you mean you'd prefer to go to hell where you might go on experiencing those feelings of war, instead of the peaceful heaven?

No It is a hadith that everyone will like to b in heaven forever after but those who gave their lives for islam will b longing to go back in the battle field again.
