I'm sure you people here other people cuss everyday, and i'm sure you've probably done some as well. One day when I was playing basketball with other teens they prey much said all kinds of words: "Come on man shoot that **** shoot that ****!" "He ain't gonna **** that ****!" "yeah baby! That's what i'm ***** talking about" "You ****!"
Every single sentence has vulgar. Doe's no one have common sense? Cussing is not a way of life. I'm sick of hearing stuff like that! The world is not a vulgar land.
What do you people think? Should the world be full of swearing? Or should we just have some common sense and stop with the cussing? Really people, I'm sick of vulgar.
I gotta admit, at school those quotes you put up is pretty much how I talk the whole day. I just find it fun and you don't even notice when someone curses if you are in that enviroment all the time, you just get used to it and it no longer bothers you.

Why does it make no sence to curse? I usualy do it to emphasize something, it's easier than doing an overexaguration using a hyperbole and dosen't sound as intentionaly over exagurated when you curse.
I swear all the time, they are just words. I don't understand how people think they are bad. Though I do usually stop swearing if it bothers anyone around me.

Yea I do the same, like when I'm around my family I never swear because I know that that would bother them, although I remember in middle school it was hard to do such an extream switch every day and I would actualy be dazed for an hour when I get home because I almost have to reformat all my thoughts on what to say.
I don't really think they matter. They are just words. If you have an issue with people using those types of words, than you should avoid those people, because asking them to stop might just result in them getting a bit mad and using them more. Sooner or later, you just get used to it. Especially in an environment like high school.

To be honest, I don't think my parents have cared in years. I just don't cuss because I don't feel like it. My parents personally cuss all the time.

It has to do with ratings. Probably. A certain amount of cuss words and you get brought up to pg-13, intense language could even get you an R. R-rated things usually don't get put on public television, which most news is on, so it would make since for them not to cuss.

Because they are supposed to be telling us important things that happen, not that they actually do that though. But either way swearing doesn't add to an informational message.

These reasons are only valid because people say they are bad. Society could have formed differently with different morals, and all these things could have been seen as good, and nobody could care less when they happened. Our morals only seem like they are logical, but that's because they feel morally right to us. If the moral thing happened to be stealing, then anybody who won't steal would be considered a bad person.

I still fail to see a decent comparison here. No matter what anyone says words cannot hurt them. Hurting someone of course does hurt them, and stealing causes them to lose something they, or someone they know, paid for. I also have a problem with society forming where harming others or stealing isn't considered bad, such a society wouldn't go anywhere.

You remind me of a kid in class that was saying "weed is bad... cause it's bad" you don't list any reasons, you are just sayng that it's culturaly unacceptable and that we should be in your culture.

I know for a fact that they don't unless you are directing the curse at the teacher, it was always funny because my friends always thought I would get into alot of trouble because I don't stop cursing even though a teacher is near, but they really don't care, same thing with cell phones and electronics, as long as they don't see them and you don't have a crowd, they don't care.
