I hope you haven't fallen for this age-old trick and actually clicked on the link.
However, if you have, welcome. This is where ideas, plans, and dreams are built.

If you were the author of the Bible, what would you have written?

I would have looked through to see if there where any plotholes, and I would have eliminated the minor sins such as drinking and sex. As for the actual content, I have no idea. I'm not the creative type.

But I am going to ask a question! If you were the author of the Bible, what would you have written?

Seeing there's the whole "God told so and so" debate sprouting from this question rather than constructive answers, and as you previously stated, it would be best to keep religion separate from this thread, I advise that you either remove that question or revise it so that it isn't specific to a single religion. Otherwise you'll never hear the end of it from either side.

What would you do if you woke up and you found out you were the only person left of your gender?

I would get married eventually and continue my life like normal.

If you were the author of the Bible, what would you have written?

Ernie15 is right. There will be no discussion of religion on this thread. Period. Go to the WEPR for that. Thank you.

I apologize for that question! I was certainly NOT expecting a religious discussion to sprout from that question! Though in hindsight, I should have seen it coming!

So I will take your advice and revise the question so that it does not pertain to any religion!

If you were to write a text that you knew people would follow, what would you write?

This is COMPLETELY hypothetical and has nothing to do with any existing religion! Sorry for all the confusion! =]

some wonders, some tales but so that they must believe they are true. just to confuse/fool the readers that follow what i wrote.

what would you do if you could create your own small universe? and i mean in the way you like. you would be able to watch everything in this universe through a device.

What does that mean? Could you say something more relevant?

I would create tiny people and stick them in tall buildings, and give them all guidelines to how the modern world works. They'd all speak English so I could understand all of them, of course. I'd also put them on different planets so they'd end up discovering each other eventually.

That sounds like so much fun, actually! The possibilities are endless.

Perhaps that's the idea, and it is our job to interpret what it means.

Or it's just spam. One or the other.

I can almost hear Carl Sagan narrating theeeese species are just beginnning to emerrrrge and expllllorrr their environmennnt..., lol

So, in other words you would create a tiny star wars universe? Could be fun.

My small universe wouldn't have small people it would just be small, like the burbs surrounding a metropolis. Every one would speak English. like yours but they wouldn't need to explore since the universe I create would only take a couple of weeks to circumnavigate. Everyone would travel though and everyone would own their own space craft for planetary travel and hover craft for traveling around their home planet. You don't take the hover craft to the city you ride bullet trains until you reach the outer beltways and transfer to the monorails. Can you imagine a universe without noisy traffic? The peace and quiet alone would probably cause people to want to live longer.

What? I was under the impression that I was going to get creative replies from the creative people here rather than a surge of Bible-thumpers appearing out of nowhere! =P

I guess I have a lot to learn about these forums... :/

Moving on! If I were to create a universe of my own, I would make it just like our beloved planet earth, but I would make it on a flat, endless plane to avoid overpopulation issues. There would always be a surplus of resources and land, so there would be very few wars if any. I'm sure that wouldn't be too great for their economy, but the job market wouldn't have as many limits! =D

I'd start it out as a series of civilizations much like our own, spread many thousand miles apart from one another, because I like the previously stated idea of them discovering each other on their own and always expanding their territory!

I'd also make myself pretty evident to all of them and tell them how I created their world, so that nobody would have any question as to how it all came to be...
