Why r pineapples so sharp y r they called pineapples what does an apple have to do with it?

Also did you know pineapples can float in water and doesn't sink?

Yup, in french we call them ananas as well and they taste good so there's nothing wrong with them.

what i think are wrong with pineapples are when you eat to much your toung wrots and stings like eating to much sour things but its good other times but i only eat some at parties like grab one cause then they dont taste bad.

Yes! That hurts like hell!

But with that knowledge under my belt, I still continue to eat pineapples, so something about them must be worth the pain... =]

How about you just eat the already available softer fruits?

There are even different varieties of pineapples, some of which are less or even not acid at all.
