in Gemcraft Lab I could go on in Endurance mode forever with Chain+Mana-Gems collecting Mana, enraging giant waves and some killing gems. In CS it kills me pretty soon. Main problems I identify would be slow mana-collection and high armor. I appreciate that endurance became limited but Id like some more chance for staying at least some longer. Anybody found a good strategy for endurance?
@drewg22 It was just there. I apologize for the double post, as I was replying to @Hyppy on another post (namely http://armorgames.com/community/thread/12291727/gemcraft-cs-unattainable-achievements). Note that the filled bar is larger than the progress bar, as the achievement was not awarded...
From what i've found bloodbound isn't worth it. It's decent to begin with, but eventually, it gets out-scaled by poolbound and triple damage. Around level 35, i changed my main attack gem from red-white-black-yellow to red-white-yellow and gained 15% attack. High levels only increaes the difference. That being said, as a level 2700 wizard with a talisman all 80+ rarity, Its difficult to go much over level 300 in endurance.
Field Y6 (highest base xp) I set all modifiers to max (except mana-lock), angered all normal waves to 999 monsters on haunting difficulty, then played endurance and made ~wave 330 for 7.3B XP
It is EXP for apparitions, at 500+ wave they give 16 digits of exp. As for mana... 30 grade is enough to beat, honestly 1. Infect shrine 2. poison shrine - at grade 30 - for 90%hp. with 1e100 hp - poison for 9e99 hp 3. blade shrine - at grade 30 - 90% hp decrease, to 1e99. Monsters are poisoned for 9e99 = 9 times hp = their life span is ~7 sec.
