After days of review, MrDayCee has been nominated by the moderation team and accepted the position of moderator. He will be eased into the position for these next couple weeks; please give him the respect due him in the position.
Tone of voice doesn't transfer through text and your statement didn't come across as joking to me.
I realise, but I think most active forumers can tell when I'm serious or sarcastic/joking. Suppose you haven't seen me much before.
2) The moderators are a football team.
Well, they're similar. We have a new community manager/head of the mod team (coach), football teams can get new coaches (admins) and the players (mods) have to communicate and listen to them. Mods are volunteers, so are football players (not talking about NFL, more like high school). Football players have to work together like the mods, as time goes on the teamwork gets better (usually).

Aside from not being familiar with your specific brand of humor, it was also plain not funny to me. So there's that. 5/10, would criticize for arrogance again. :P
Btw, cut the jabs at inactivity. They're getting old.
Yeah, the problem is you keep doing it (not just at me, but Voidy too) and it does not come across as light banter, in my opinion. It comes across as kind of condescending - "you aren't around, so I know better than you".
This could be another instance of you trying to be funny and missing my humor by a few miles, in which case I'm sort of sorry that I can't read your statements as you intend them, but you might need to reconsider how you phrase yourself.
Blergh. Anyway, this isn't exactly fit for this thread (which is supposed to be DayCee celebrashuns ). Derp at my profile if you wanna talk about it moar.
Two notes on inactivity. No, three, one more to clear up stuff:
1) mods take mentions of their apparent inactivity rather seriously. It's pretty much like someone (jokingly) asking you, why you are so lazy, just because they see you playing a flash game for a few minutes in between master-degree homework. Presumably it is the same annoyance retail workers feel after the 100th customer asks if that one thing that doesn't ring up right is free.
2) The bother of inactivity is a fine reason for why I resigned instead of going on a hiatus. Who knows how many would conclude I was being a lazy bum because my priorities were different than theirs.
3) "Lololol, perceived activity = actual activity!!" Or rather, how you can be best mod by not modding at all, but being really active on the forums. Been there, did mod a bit, was still assumed to be the most active mod.
Also, Zophia totally writes faster than I do. ^
Anyway, official congratulations to you, MrNewMod, hopefully they don't get you down before you have had at least a few weeks to try your best.
MrDayCee...Killersup is happy that a new moderator has been chosen for the team.Although Killersup has never had a long conversation with him, he seems like a alright choice for the job.
Just wanted to say, our mod team works very hard - but they are ultimately volunteers. That means school, family and real life take priority over their time put in here at AG - sometimes in bursts.
Have you thanked a moderator lately? I think it's a good idea.
I thank the moderators all the time, even though I have been know to give them something to do when they show up.
Just to clear something up, just because you don't see a moderator posting, doesn't mean they are not here. I remember when I used to have regular off site conversations with some of the mods, they'd sit for hours going through game comments from you little turd balls, to get to the end of one game, and have a new page to delete, and that's one game alone. Their is A LOT of stuff for them to do on this site. Just because they don't respond to your report doesn't mean they are inactive.
Don't get 'em started....there was just a war between Ghost and her n Devoidless...
More of a discussion, really.
When did Zophia get here all of a sudden? That's a nice blast from the past.
I started frequenting AG again around the end of September. It took a few weeks before I felt reacquainted enough to start interacting with the community rather than silently swooping around.
