I am a christian, i and i strongly belive in my lord jesus christ, and i also belive that if you belive in him and except him as your savior, u will go to heaven. and i also believe that he created the world, not the big bang, or that we came from stupid apes.
It originated from a singularity that was absolutely tiny with an infintesimal volume and extremely high density temperature.
The singularity is belived to be, if you can visualise it, the mirror image of a black hole, starting out with a huge gaping mouth and then getting smaller and smaller as you reach the core, where it is absolutely tiny, so scientists belive the centre of the universe is the centre of a black hole from another universe, do you see?
I've asked this numerous times, and I forget whether this argument has been rebutted yet, but whatev...
If I were to take all of the organic materials required to make a living organism, would it be possible that I could indeed make a living creature that:
-reproduces offspring which, in turn, reproduce offspring, etc.
-contains DNA
-senses and reacts to external stimuli
-has methods to obtain energy from its environment.
Every organism on earth meets these 4 requirements.
As far as I know, mixing all those organic materials together makes a glob of goo. It doesn't change in any way. It can't reproduce. Nothing.
My view: God created all of today at the beginning of life on earth simply by speaking them into existence.
Atheism the belief that there was nothing and nothing happened to nothing and then nothing magically exploded for no reason, creating everything and then a bunch of everything magically rearranged itself for no reason what so ever into self-replicating bits which then turned into dinosaurs. It sure does makes perfect sense. I Craze77 am a Christian(leader of the Christian Club on myspace).
So what's your explanation? That a magical flying wizard wooshed down and poofed humans onto Earth? No, they don't rearrange magically. We evolved. Our traits are passed down changing each generation for the better. You are making it sound stupid just because you have a strong belief in an unproven deity. I could do the same and say why God can't make the world the happyfunland its supposed to be and why he doesn't show himself. I could ask what proof do you have that he exist and why would god put people in Hell? But I won't because all those statements have been said a thousand times making them repetitive and unoriginal. Just like your over exaggerated argument.

Not really, there is a lot of detail about all of this points. Firstly electrons caused very small packets of light called photons to scatter continuosly. This is the stage scientists like to call the primordial soup. As the universe expanded they began to cool down and the photons began to give off ionised particles which lead to the creation of hydrogen and helium. Now photons streamed freely and made up light radiation throughout the universe, called cosmic wave background.
Support for the big bang, includes the 'red shift' and the abundance of helium and hydrogen in our galaxy and no craze dinosaurs didnt come first. Planet Earth was nearly devoid of life at first, the first life evolving as single celled organisms from the sea.
Well i'm actually an Atheist, and I for one beleive in evolution and astronomy. religion is slowely but surely being proved wrong. But who knows what is beyond wht the eye can see. When the time comes that we absolutley know what really happened, there will be riots spreading across the globe.
Also, atheism is just a word for NO RELIGION
I simply don't understand why anyone can't comprehend that.
There is something I never got about Christianity. They say if you believe in Jesus and accept him as your savior, you go to heaven. Does that mean you can rape, murder, steal and cheat, but by accepting Jesus you go to heaven?
I always imagined Jesus as more of a Buddha. I think that, should he have really existed, he was saying, "The road to redemption is not by following and believing, but by improving yourself. You are the only person who can change yourself. Not me, not God, but you." The commandments such as "Don't covet your neighbors wife" are guidelines to your Improvement.
I agree with parts of the Bible, such as the commandments, but most of the stories about Adam and Eve or Noah I think are just stories.
Problems arise when atheists not only don't believe in God bt try and prevent religious believers from having their own attitudes. You gotta let them make their own mistakes ot repent very quickly if atheism is wrong but I doubt it.
