Alright, so two people can touch eachother, and Al Gore isn't a terrorist. But I refuse to stop arguing with people that are smarter than me until I can win.

This was inspired by an episode of the television show, The Moment of Truth. A paramedic was asked if fat people repulsed him, his answer was yes. This led me to question whether fat people repulsed me, my conclusion is for myself only but it has led me to more questions, mainly, are the obese immoral?

I am sure everyone can say, that they believe that allowing another person to starve to death, specifically children, is immoral, or, not conforming to the patterns of conduct usually accepted or established as consistent with principles of personal and social ethics.

A normal adult consumes 2427 calories a day, 18% less than an obese adult.

Since a baby needs 100 calories a day, every second day an obese person is effectively responsible for the death of a baby in a third world country. That is 182 babies every year. People are given the death penalty, for many less than that.

That's actually not a bad idea. One way to fight obesity while helping everyone else.

But then many fast food companies and restaurants would lose a lot of money.

Ok, how about it doesn't apply to small restaurants? Only chains and then stores that sell candy bars, bags of candy, etc.

There goes 75 percent of my diet. I'm going to be even skinnier than I am now if that happens, lol.

Michael phelps must also be immoral because he eats like 10000 calories per day just so that he can score some world records. I bet he never once thought about the starving babies in Ethiopia. and remember that time he smoked weed out of a bong? despicable.

I believe in people having their freedoms, but I honestly think obese people area burden on our society, and it might be time for the government to take action. There's a simple solution that, while extreme, would take care of the obesity problem. I think people over a certain weight should be sterilized. If they're sterile, they can't curse their offspring with their horrible genes. A lot of obese people are obese because they eat too much, but just as many claim to have glandular issues, or bad genes, etc. Well, tie their tubes. Don't let them pass their issues on to the next generation. If the government issued a weight limit, and anyone over said limit will be forced to get a sterilization, we could breed the obesity out of our country. It couldn't hurt at least.

Well, I think I've made my opinion on Michael Phelps known already. In my mind at least, I see athletic pursuits as different from delicious ones.

And don't get me started on calling him despicable because of one little bong...

You once again have referenced appearance as the reason for this judgement. It is not, it is merely a moral judgement. Wow...i just made myself SOUND really BAD.

So you just like to middle around, trying to solve the problem while keeping everyone happy? News Flash, that has never happened.

This is a drastic problem, we need a solution that's the same.

this is the problem of the people who willingly chose to be obese. i do not see why it is a drastic problem.

and do not try to convince anyone that there is world hunger because people are fat.

So you just like to middle around, trying to solve the problem while keeping everyone happy

not exactly but taking the most fundamental rights from people, because do not like their lifestyle and apperance does not seem appropriate in any way.

and no obese people are not all jobless and lazy and therefore do not live from social welfare.
unless not funded with some numbers this is only an assumption and not an argument
