The original "This Thread is Currently About" is back! Yes, it's Count to 100!

HOW TO PLAY

1. Count by ones from 1 to 100 in 100 consecutive posts according to the Core Rules.
2. Restart the count from 1 after:
a. a Moderator (or an Administrator) makes a stopping post (post without counting) if users and Knights are counting..
b. a user or Knight or Warden makes a stopping post (post without counting) if Moderators and Administrators are counting.
c. breaking a core rule, spamming, or cheating.
d. reaching 100.
3. Announce why you restart the count so other counters don't get confused.
NOTE: For the time being, Moderators are allowed to help Users count, so as long as the other rules are observed you do not need to restart the count if you see a mod count. However, if a Moderator makes a stopping post, i.e. a post without counting (not the same as a non-count post since they're technically different teams), it is considered an interruption and the count will restart.

CORE RULES

No mistakes. A count must start from 1 and increase by ones up to 100, save for exceptions noted.
No double-counting. No counter may count two consecutive numbers.
No back-to-back counting. No two counters may alternate for more than three consecutive numbers.
Okay: P1 P2 P1 P3
Not Okay: P1 P2 P1 P2
Okay: P1 P2 reset P1 P2
No editing. No counter may edit their post. If an edit tag shows on a count, the attempt is forfeit.

ADDiTiONAL RULES

No "spamming". Please don't post only the number and please don't post gibberish, either.
Multiple one- or two-word counts may also disqualify a count.
No "cheating". This shouldn't need to be said. Counting to 100 doesn't count if you cheat.
This is an exercise in teamwork, not rule bending.
No "spoiling". Don't mess with the count. Posts should start with the correct number.
Posts with no numbers should be ignored. See also: No non-counts.
Posts with intentional mistakes should be ignored.
No "spilping". If this is your first post in this thread, please post "I'm new and here to count to 100!"
No non-counts. No counter may post without a counting number or make a post without bolding that number if that counting number is not at the start of the post.

COMPLETE SET OF RULES
Please refer to the complete set of rules for additional information and examples of what is valid or invalid.
DiSCUSSiON THREAD
Please also check out the discussion thread for new gameplay or rule proposals or general discussion on the gameplay and rules of "Count to 100".

END GAME

Once you reach 100, you start this Sisyphean task all over again back at 1. Users should notify the Commissioner of the Count (HahiHa) that the count reached 100 and the Commissioner will review it to make sure there were no mistakes or cheating. If there were no mistakes or cheating, then the users who took part in the successful count to 100 will get a shiny new Quest!

8. If anything living could teleport, then only thanks to some high tech. Else how could it determine coordinates? During moving we've got a bunch of organs, muscles, bones, joints. Oh wait, that's obvious. Goats could use magic to teleport!

9. The problem doesn't come when saying "Oh, you need to move a bunch of organs, muscles, bones, joints". It comes to the fact that everything is moving. First the Earth, then the Sun, then the galaxy, then the galaxy group, then that b**** from high school. I didn't forget you, Claire! You're still a b****.

11. Hey! Welcome back, dude! Watch for the back to back right there!
Psst! Pretend that you know him.

So... How have things been while you were out?

12. I actually do, catto.flv. Heyo.
I was talking about means by which we switch coordinates physically, not taking any perspective matters. Also of course when other object hits us (or more vapidly just transports us), it helps, but we should focus strictly on a problem of a goat that wants to immediatelly change physically its location. Other objects than future teleporters (only if those will be invented) can't provide that.

then the Sun

If somebody wonders - that's true, stars are presumably orbiting around barycentrums of their systems. I don't have any data about Claire, though.

Also if we add magic to our world, then teleporting goats might be stopped from escaping easily! By anti-teleport barriers, duh.

1. That's a nice word but we have to reset, because it doesn't fulfil the rule:

No "spamming". Please don't post only the number and please don't post gibberish, either.
Multiple one- or two-word counts may also disqualify a count.

Thanks for not doing this again.

2. Yeah, I knew I checked his profile.

Anyway, the goat! Yeah, she was a real "bad girl". Always spreading gossip about me and my friends (so just me). Talking BLEEP about me. Once even tried to throw m- Oh, we're talking about THAT goat...

Considering I have no idea what you mean, I'll say this. What would be the reference point? When entering coordinates you have to have a zero, but if everything is changing, moving, there's no real reference point. I guess the only way you could be able to teleport would to find the place in the universe where the big bang occured and where all the CBR came out. If the assumptions that my lil brain is making are right. Considering how little we know especially of the universe's size, teleportation isn't possible even if it was possible.

Yeah, I heard how we teleported an electron or smth to the opposite side of the planet, but we're talking about teleporting anywhere you want. Teleporting could only be possible as sort of bus routes. It'd still be cool.

3. Teleportation. Seems hard, if you think with science brain. Use Magic™! Magic™ is the answer to every problem of your life! Call the number ************ and get your own Magic™ for the small small price of your soul!

5. @sciller45 Man, 100% unrestrained teleportation is an amazing conception. But the problem wouldn’t lie that much in coordinates even today (slightly exaggerated). One thing: a person's teleportation reference, the natural starting point (0,0,0), should be between their soles – found by 3D scanner in the teleporting device.

But other thing is how to indicate where one wants to teleport? We can use satellites scanning the Earth, but normal coordinates won’t do. We need three dimensions. If we took a very precise 3D scan of whole Earth’s surface, that is often updated, we could also compute a very precise Earth’s geometrical center. A fairly safe teleportation object’s reference. One could transfer their quanta to a place indicated either by a vector (starting in Earth’s center), or just by choosing a point from the surface, coordinates of which would be corrected by teleportating person’s geometry, various tolerances and blabla. Let’s ignore the long list requirements and concentrate only on the point (0,0,0) and how to transfer it to a point on Earth. Then rest of the points. Two different coordinate systems from two different scans are needed. And now after teleportating a whole person or a whole goat such device should teleport itself aaaaand nothing else from surroundings.

And how magic would handle that? xD A magician should have access to something equal to an advanced computer with scanners beside it’s ability to transfer energy. So in D&D they invented "The Weave" that does this and many other functions.

Something that seems possible from today’s perspective is using stationary teleporters like you mentioned. But the way photons are being transported, a year ago even to a satellite... I don't think I would constitute the same being, after such transition.
