The original "This Thread is Currently About" is back! Yes, it's Count to 100!

HOW TO PLAY

1. Count by ones from 1 to 100 in 100 consecutive posts according to the Core Rules.
2. Restart the count from 1 after:
a. a Moderator (or an Administrator) makes a stopping post (post without counting) if users and Knights are counting..
b. a user or Knight or Warden makes a stopping post (post without counting) if Moderators and Administrators are counting.
c. breaking a core rule, spamming, or cheating.
d. reaching 100.
3. Announce why you restart the count so other counters don't get confused.
NOTE: For the time being, Moderators are allowed to help Users count, so as long as the other rules are observed you do not need to restart the count if you see a mod count. However, if a Moderator makes a stopping post, i.e. a post without counting (not the same as a non-count post since they're technically different teams), it is considered an interruption and the count will restart.

CORE RULES

No mistakes. A count must start from 1 and increase by ones up to 100, save for exceptions noted.
No double-counting. No counter may count two consecutive numbers.
No back-to-back counting. No two counters may alternate for more than three consecutive numbers.
Okay: P1 P2 P1 P3
Not Okay: P1 P2 P1 P2
Okay: P1 P2 reset P1 P2
No editing. No counter may edit their post. If an edit tag shows on a count, the attempt is forfeit.

ADDiTiONAL RULES

No "spamming". Please don't post only the number and please don't post gibberish, either.
Multiple one- or two-word counts may also disqualify a count.
No "cheating". This shouldn't need to be said. Counting to 100 doesn't count if you cheat.
This is an exercise in teamwork, not rule bending.
No "spoiling". Don't mess with the count. Posts should start with the correct number.
Posts with no numbers should be ignored. See also: No non-counts.
Posts with intentional mistakes should be ignored.
No "spilping". If this is your first post in this thread, please post "I'm new and here to count to 100!"
No non-counts. No counter may post without a counting number or make a post without bolding that number if that counting number is not at the start of the post.

COMPLETE SET OF RULES
Please refer to the complete set of rules for additional information and examples of what is valid or invalid.
DiSCUSSiON THREAD
Please also check out the discussion thread for new gameplay or rule proposals or general discussion on the gameplay and rules of "Count to 100".

END GAME

Once you reach 100, you start this Sisyphean task all over again back at 1. Users should notify the Commissioner of the Count (HahiHa) that the count reached 100 and the Commissioner will review it to make sure there were no mistakes or cheating. If there were no mistakes or cheating, then the users who took part in the successful count to 100 will get a shiny new Quest!

19. I reckon a game portal is in a way a publishing company, eh?

I doubt it will rebuild. There'll still be some who play flash games actively, but I feel as if it'll soon be used for archival purposes... and people trying to reach 100!

Because there is political gain to be had in choosing a side on the issue. One side picks its position, and of course, the other party has to be the opposition. Why? I don't know. Maybe we've become so polarized that "the other side" is so blatantly evil that we couldn't possibly support them over anything. I must say, that other side really should consider getting back to the political centre to stop this horrid phenomenon!

20. Don't have much to say, I really want to get to 100 one last time. Probably won't stay much longer in AG.

2. Yes, all 3 of us. This point in time might very well be the last time we could possibly be successful counting.

3. Sciller want to rush it? I think we are in the same or a similar time zone. We just need a third

4. I would help in rushing it, but I have classes starting back up tomorrow since Spring Break is officially over for me. Also, if anyone wondered why I wasn't active for the past week, it's because I accidently destroyed my computer after spilling some watermelon punch...that was bought from a liquor store, on the keyboard. Got a new one though, and it runs faster than my old computer. Hopefully, I won't destroy this computer too.

5. Assuming you're really from Greece, neighbourino to the south, we should be in the same timezone. But again, we need a third. No idea who that could be. RG, is your weekend free? It should take an hour-or-so. Once, we sprinted it (0-100) in 37 minutes.

Spring break just ended? I was always used to it being the week before Easter + Monday or the week after Easter + Friday.

6. Yes I am indeed from Greece. I can do it on the weekend. Our spring break is the same as yours sciller but our Easter is the orthodox one, I don't know about yours.

7. It just seems a bit weird to me.
USSR had state atheism, and I do believe they had spring break so that it connected to Labour day. Makes sense.
Greece has orthodoxy, and it connects to Orthodox Easter.
The USA is secular, yes, but Easter is still celebrated by some 65% of the population. To top it off, Easter is more-or-less secularized now.
Mmmm. On the other hand, Easter does tend to come a tad too early or late.

Watch for B2B

8. Easter is celebrated by Christians and non-religious people alike here, like as you said, since it's fairly secular now, just like Christmas is now a secular holiday, with children picking up colorful plastic eggs with candy hidden throughout their yard or house which we call an Easter egg hunt. (Is the US the only country to do this?) Of course, my family being Catholic, we attend Easter mass every year to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. As for Easter coming early or late, it just depends if Lent also came early or late as Easter marks the end of Lent. And let me tell you, I'll be happy when I can eat meat on Fridays and drink coffee again.

9. The percentage of non religious people is increasing, most people in my country celebrate Easter as a tradition rather than a religious event. Almost no one goes to church anymore, most go on Easter day only but mostly as a formality.

10. Another number. Lots has happened in these past few days. For one, I'm deathly worried about Grandma, for another, I just realized I lost my sense of smell after spraying a buttload of deodorant on my arm and smelling nothing but the sting of whatever they're sticking in those cans. It's... genuinely not that impactful.
I stay in my room, only coming out to eat or go to the bathroom. I didn't think it would feel bad, but somehow it does. Maybe the fact I'm forced makes it different. Somehow. Currently, I just want to go on a walk.

I don't believe I've heard of Easter Egg hunts in the non-anglophone world.

Ooh, yes! And sprint this weekend?

12. Loss sense of smell? While I'm sure it differs for everyone, I lost my sense of smell for a week when I got the Corona Virus one week into the new year and I remember feeling downright terrible throughout the whole ordeal. (On the flip side, we were house breaking the dog and I was glad that I couldn't smell his "accidents". Also, I had a dentist appointment in January canceled and got rescheduled to mid-March, which is when I found out my bottom permanent retainer broke. Must've been recent as it was fortunately fixed before my bottom teeth could shift back. I can't imagine having to get braces again due to my permanent retainer breaking, so I guess you could say that getting Corona was a blessing in disguise? Even then, Corona still sucks!) Hope you get better, Sciller!

Also, speaking of the virus, I'm getting the one dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine next week. And considering my fear of needles, I'm relieved that I'll only have to endure it once. Still going to need emotional support by holding someone's hand though.
