The original "This Thread is Currently About" is back! Yes, it's Count to 100!
HOW TO PLAY
1. Count by ones from 1 to 100 in 100 consecutive posts according to the Core Rules.
2. Restart the count from 1 after:
a. a Moderator (or an Administrator) makes a stopping post (post without counting) if users and Knights are counting..
b. a user or Knight or Warden makes a stopping post (post without counting) if Moderators and Administrators are counting.
c. breaking a core rule, spamming, or cheating.
d. reaching 100.
3. Announce why you restart the count so other counters don't get confused.
NOTE: For the time being, Moderators are allowed to help Users count, so as long as the other rules are observed you do not need to restart the count if you see a mod count. However, if a Moderator makes a stopping post, i.e. a post without counting (not the same as a non-count post since they're technically different teams), it is considered an interruption and the count will restart.
CORE RULES
No mistakes. A count must start from 1 and increase by ones up to 100, save for exceptions noted.
No double-counting. No counter may count two consecutive numbers.
No back-to-back counting. No two counters may alternate for more than three consecutive numbers.
Okay: P1 P2 P1 P3
Not Okay: P1 P2 P1 P2
Okay: P1 P2 reset P1 P2
No editing. No counter may edit their post. If an edit tag shows on a count, the attempt is forfeit.
ADDiTiONAL RULES
No "spamming". Please don't post only the number and please don't post gibberish, either.
Multiple one- or two-word counts may also disqualify a count.
No "cheating". This shouldn't need to be said. Counting to 100 doesn't count if you cheat.
This is an exercise in teamwork, not rule bending.
No "spoiling". Don't mess with the count. Posts should start with the correct number.
Posts with no numbers should be ignored. See also: No non-counts.
Posts with intentional mistakes should be ignored.
No "spilping". If this is your first post in this thread, please post "I'm new and here to count to 100!"
No non-counts. No counter may post without a counting number or make a post without bolding that number if that counting number is not at the start of the post.
COMPLETE SET OF RULES
Please refer to the complete set of rules for additional information and examples of what is valid or invalid.
DiSCUSSiON THREAD
Please also check out the discussion thread for new gameplay or rule proposals or general discussion on the gameplay and rules of "Count to 100".
END GAME
Once you reach 100, you start this Sisyphean task all over again back at 1. Users should notify the Commissioner of the Count (HahiHa) that the count reached 100 and the Commissioner will review it to make sure there were no mistakes or cheating. If there were no mistakes or cheating, then the users who took part in the successful count to 100 will get a shiny new Quest!

2. Man that would've been awesome! Now I feel bad for being late to the party. Would've made a nice assist to that opportunity.
3. How was I surprised to see that nobody counted 100 for more than 20 minutes. For the first time I could post it without stealing from anyone. Other than that it doesn't pose any value to me, I'd have rather contributed to Sciller's numerical happenstance.
4. So you live near Auschwitz? The death camp. I learned about the Holocaust in school this year. Well cool.
And sciller, you can probably find that stuff on amazon. Or the black market.
7. Kat, you ate long in the middle line.
Good that they teach people about WWII. Once Stephen Fry said that these two are "Polish death camps". I remember a tour there, brrrr, nightmares guaranteed!
9. @abcdragon Thanks. I was lost when the silk road was gone. Now I feel slightly guilty for planning to hold you for ransom. Alright, I'm gonna go open up the portal to the dark web through memes before they get banned.
10. SO what is your fav lamp guys? (mine is 2G11PL220-240V-50Hz18W)
11. What a marvelous concurrence of events can I observe! It's my fave too.
12. Is the voltage and frequency really something we need to know? Anyways, we can all agree that this lamp is the best. I picked the non-speaker version because then it wouldn't be a lamp.
14. Well, it has a Bluetooth speaker, so you can both make it play thunder or shout racist slurs at you and look nice while doing it ! The possibilities are endless! And another great part is that it only costs 4000$. What a... What a bargain!
You can also buy two brass rulers. Only 90$ a pop!
15. What the frappe? 500 bucks for a lantern with LEDs wrapped with cotton fibre? It's a daylight robbery. I can DIY (DIM) the colourful one for no more than 60. Add 10$ to make it thunderous.
Too bad it's also completely useless for lighting - cotton captures the light and renders it as a mere decoration.
As for the best lamp for me - up-cycled mechanical lamp right now, some of those don't look bad. But it's more like a whim, I'm totally crazy about clockworks and steam punk ATM.
16. I don't have a favorite lamp. I prefer to read in the dim light of twilight. It saves money, electricity, and distance you have to move to read!
17. I really like the style of those lamps, although I probably couldn't bear to look at them IRL. I think it could do really well in a storeroom, though.
Wait, am I actually having a conversation about lamps?
19. The funniest thing is that Sciller started the conversation about lamps himself :-P
If I was stupid enough, I'd instal vises and other thingamajigs all over my place. Too bad they could serve decoration purposes only - accompanying grease reeks too much for residential areas. Similarly for iron and cast-iron after some time. I keep weights - they're not rusted at all and still I can scent the smell.
I'd remain with something smaller but necessary a clockwork - the best would be to construct a prototype of some crazy stuff, like keywound Antikythera. But I'm a weee bit under that level for the time being :-P
