Welcome to the Keymettic Arena, brave Forumnauts. Please keep your wits about you. We are currently in the fourth stage of experiments. Things may still be a bit glitchy here, so please be careful or you may wind up [randomed] or worse. Please keep the following in mind:
1. This might be one of the stupidest forum games you will play.
2. You probably have no idea what is going on here.

4. Please use OOC if you are not in-character. All Forumnaut games are RP-lite. You're playing a character but you're playing yourself.
I will be keeping watch from my laboratory and try to resolve any glitchy issues that may occur during this experiment, but I make no promises. If you do happen to die during this experiment, please make another post and you will automatically be revived. You will lose an attack during resurrection.
As a Keymettic Warrior, you have three stats: Key, Met, and Tic. Each of these three stats are important in their own way. You are also outfitted with equipment of your choice.
When signing up for this experiment, please roll 3d6 points to your Key, Met, and Tic and assign the rolls to whatever stat you wish. Please also choose your main hand (MH) and offhand (OH) equipment.

Special: Active: Cancels damage of next attack on self. Once per battle.
Ascendent Sword - 3d4 (MH)
Req: Must have been ascended, etc.
Special: Active: Doubles damage of next attack on selected target. Once per battle.

Req: Gantickest Gantestant
Special: Passive: Double damage vs rabbity types.
Banhammer - 10d10 (MH+OH)
Req: Moderator
Special: Active: Banninate. Works on Users, Knights, and anything that isn't immune.
Mod Cape - +20 (Torso, neck)

Special: Passive: Negates damage of next attack on self after Banhammer special is used, except from anything that is immune to Banhammer special.

OOC:
1. There's free resurrection, which may or may not have some conditions attached to it.
2. There may or may not have been items or events the party may or may not have triggered in the previous trial.
3. There may or may not be items that may or may not do things like healing in this first round of trials.
4. There are some parts that may or may not be part of some social experiment.
5. I may or may not be carefully wording these statements.
OOC: Except for two items, I've told you what every item special does. And those two items come with a warning. There may be "off-label use" but that's up to ingenuity. I may have to post the group inventory with the player list, since no one seems to be physically keeping track of it. All found objects will go to group inventory. All found objects equipped or held will revert to group inventory if a player equipped with or holding that object is placed in stasis. With each trial you will have access to more items an with more items you will have access to more actions/abilities.
OOC: That last status update showed the following things:
1) Armor increases the "dodge rating", whose base value is either MET or TIC (probably TIC, but it may rotate with MET).
2) A 19 somehow missed MattEmAngel even though he has a 17 MET, a 7 TIC, and a +8 armor. Previous status updates have shown that the armor-to-dodge ratio is worse than 4:1. Also, a 9 missed Darkfire45, which also contradicts an armor-to-dodge ratio of 5:1 or worse. This means there is a hidden bonus from something.
3) The only possible sources of a hidden bonus to dodge rating are either the block action by JACKinbigletters (which was supposed to help Loop_Stratos) or the gopher stone. However, the first seems unlikely, and the second one was in the inventory at the beginning of the trial, but no bonus was applied in the first round.
4) The only conclusions I can make are that either of the following is true: a) One of the hidden bonuses from #3 is true. b) Each time we figure something out, Gantic makes a change to the mechanics.
Both parts of conclusion a seem unlikely or flawed, and as for part b, the KEY bonus to damage has been consistent. Because of what I have found out in this post, I will remove everything related to the Keymettic Arena from my about.
