Why hasn't anyone dismantled them yet? There's a lot of parts which can fetch a very high price on the black market. And I could use the money to buy lots of useless stuff for this tavern.
Τhen I guess it's your job *throws a sledgehammer and a drill to Chryos*
But then again, you need something heavier. You will need 200 years to dismantle the robots just with these. Maybe this is the reason no one has done it yet.
*catches sledgehammer and drill and sets them aside*
200 years? Give me a break. Maybe if someone could control time and/or possess the ability to cut objects apart in an instant then maybe we could be able to decrease the time taken to dismantle them. Also...
*knocks on one of the robots*
The only thing I need out of these robots are the power core, weapons and the equipment used to operate them. Everything else can be scrapped.
Well, I would like to keep the armor plates when you are done. I am researching a new type of Power Armor and these robots's plates should do just fine.
*looks up from cookbook*
Or you could just, you know, open them with the maintenance controls on their backs. That'd probably be less dest--
*an electrical explosion, with bits of metal shrapnel flying across the room*
Okay, fine. Do it your way.
*continues reading quietly*
Right. I've done my research. That armor is adaptive. Billions of nanomachines bend, twist and alter the armor plates to make them capable of absorbing any blow. The nanomachines also have a "memorizing" capability, allowing them to "remember" how to absorb blows they have absorbed before for better and faster response.
Unfortunately, all this data was stored in the data chips. Which means that I have to beg @HahiHa to give me at least one. *Sigh*...ok...please?
Wait what? A Daemon Prince, begging me for something?? Oh, this is so great
However, I see two good reasons not to give you that data chip you covet. First and foremost, giving such data to a daemon prince surely must be folly. According to my research the robots have travelled far and wide in the universe. Giving you access to the armour's memory would render you so much more powerful, almost invulnerable...
Secondly, do you remember the black gem issue? How could I trust you after you deceived me once already?
No, I will not give you one of the data chips (and don't try to steal them, they're safely stored in my space-time bubble). But, I may be convinced to part with one chip, if, in return, you can procure me a certain thing I need... quid pro quo
I was simply stalling for time. I know you haven't stolen all of the data chips, just most of them. All I had to do was to distract you while I took the rest. But to do that, I needed, well the data. And since you, the deceiving cunning being, knew to take only the useful data chips and leave the empty ones in the robot shells, I had to activate them to initialize their starting sequence.
*Activation Sound*
Oh look it is ready. Ready to be filled with data on ways to absorb any blow.
*Shoots fireball on the one droid with its armor still on*
Thanks to the brilliant mind of Doom, I have come up with the idea of combining these weapons with the velociraptors in order to create an army of cyborgs! There's just one problem.
*picks up a power core*
These weapons require these power cores in order to operate. And I can't seem to figure out how they work. Also, it's extremely hard to replicate them.
