Sex ed in public school wasn't that bad for me. They actually did a good job in teaching it and gave out lots of free condoms. It wasn't a bad thing at all. The condoms weren't the best, but that's ok.
Well, now you have proof, or at least some sort of argument. Well parents, teachers DO actually talk about sex before marriage, and how to practice abstinence. (Well at least in my life)
Most kids usually think, "How could I possibly get AIDS? It's a small chance, so why not?" That's the thought that goes through their mind, and then nine months later HE is the one in the hospital waiting for his baby....
But what you just said doesn't really support the 70/30 ratio. You are making 70% because they AREN'T doing something? Well that wouldn't be blamed on parents and teachers.
I only think this way because i believe that if parents properly warn their children and teach their children of the dangers of pre-marital sex such as diseases and teen pregnancy the teens may practice abstinence.
Do your parents have complete control over you? I am actually asking that question to you. Have you EVER done something that they told you not to? If you have than you have just proved yourself wrong. Saves me the trouble of having to do it. Thanks!
I never knew condoms were for girls.
Condoms are for girls? I wouldn't exactly say that unless you are referring to the female condom. I would say condoms are for guys, since it is a sperm catcher and not an egg catcher. Maybe it's just perspective.
i'm just saying 70% parents because they have or had the influence to prevent this from happening. if the teens aren't warned then whose to say whose at fault.

I am to say who is at fault. Whether one is warned, ordered, informed, or ignorant does not matter ONE BIT! If you do something and you chose to do it with sound mind in tact, then it is YOUR fault for whatever you do.
Well, it's the same thing as a guy condom, just that the woman puts it on herself. Some guys refuse to use a condom, but the woman has a say in it....nothing to do with eggs :P
Oh and WeeMan, if you got a nickel for every time I disobeyed my parents, you'd have enough to buy Armor Games, haha.
@tempo, my parents tell me it's bad, but I still did it. Not saying I'm proud of myself since it wasn't exactly something, "sacred." The kids are at fault 100% because it is THEIR choice to do it or not, whether the parents say anything.
