Exactly. Das Kapital states that private ownership fuels the unpredictability in a free market. So that when governments own property and businesses, then you no longer have to worry about highs and lows. The economy becomes controllable and that's what we're doing now.

You're on the losing side of the argument. This is going on RIGHT NOW. It's just a fact. America is compromised.

That's a major exaggeration. Right now, we're only controlling a few banks and 60% of a car company. That isn't the entire corporate world. That's barely even a fraction of it. Once again,
the USA has made a few socialistic moves but is still a few hundred away from socialism.

Erm, no I'm not. I've matched and refuted all of your points so far. If anything, I'm winning the debate right now.

IF you think a few socialistic moves compromises America, than we were compromised a long time ago. Public schools. Public hospitals. Public welfare. Social security. Those are all things America installed that are distinctly socialist. So the government nationalizes a few marge corporations to keep them from failing and bumping up the unemployment rate drastically and we're socialist to the point of economic wrongness? You're exaggerating hugely.

Also, pure capitalism never was and never will be implemented. Ad much against socialism you think you are, every free market economy in the world has socialistic reforms in place.

What? You haven't refuted anyone but yourself. When a climber climbs up a mountain, and I say, "This guy is climbing a mountain now." You would say, "He's not climbing a mountain he's only walked a few steps up the side of the mountain."

That's not a valid analogy - climbing up a mountain is a constant thing - you don't stop after every step. A more valid analogy would be 'when a climber climbs up a mountain, you would say 'this guy is to the summit pof a mountain!' I would say 'no, he's only a few steps up.'

Just because we've inched a few inches towards socialism doesn't make us socialist. For us to be a socialist country, we would need the proletariat to rule toe government completely, and have every single corporation commonly owned by the people. That's really, really far from happening. Ergo, we're really, really far from socialism.

I have to leave for a while to let my sister finish her homework on the computer. Bye, be back soonish.

And besides, who said I was against socialism? There's nothing wrong with finding a way to control the economy. It just has to breath. But while you keep citing domestic issues, I'm talking about the global economy. Globally we're compromised. We have wreaked havoc on our neighboring countries and have issued a PROMISE that this will not happen again. In order to keep that promise, we have agreed to the follow directives issued from the EU and Asia. We are no longer sovereign in this regard. PTHTHTHththhhpt!

I never said you were - we were debating about whether the USA was socialist or not, not if you were for or against it. Also, the global economy is distinctly capitalist - there is a free market in place, and it has relatively lax regulations as a whole. Regulations alone simply cannot make any economy socialist.

I have no idea what the f your talking about.
You gotta explain these points

The governments are united not to let fluctuations in wealth happen again.

USA in the global economy. We won't have highs and lows anymore, everything is going to level out according to the best interest of the workers in the world.

The Free Market was a thorn in the side of socialist economies world wide. Their aim is to control their economies, but investing in America was bad for them because you couldn't predict what was going to happen in a free market. So now as an apology, we're committed to unifying the global economy so that world-wide depressions don't ever happen again. That's socialism. We're doing it.

Seriously wtf? Please define socialism for me.

The aim of what is to control the economies? What investment and what prediction of what was going to happen to the free market? What apology, and what do you mean unifying the global economy?

How does that relate to socialim?

Globally we're compromised.

How so? Explain

I asked:

Quick question, how involved in the government would the general public be under socialism? How involved would they be under communism? How involved should they be according to capitalism ideology alone? And how involved are people in all reality under capitalism?

Comrade Gamer replied:

I take the road less traveled of course.

What the hell is this? Just answer the question! Actually, I would rather someone else answer it. A real communist or socialist. Not some wannabe who doesn't know what he's talking about.

I believe that pure socialism, where everyone does what is best for the general public and there is no greed, would be the best, but the problem is: THAT DOESN'T EXIST! It is always tainted by greed. That's why I like capitalism. People can work for themselves and get along quite nicely doing it.

Now you assume I am capitalist? I never said I was capitalist, and I never said anything to even support capitalist.

I asked a simple question, and you dodged it both times. Now grow up and fetch one of your buddies to answer my question.

FYI, you are not a real communist ComradeGamer. Apparently, you know nothing about communism.

Off the record you are not capitalists.
Definition of capitalist:
One who has capital; one who has money for investment, or money invested; esp. a person of large property, which is employed in business.
You may support capitalism but you are not capitalists.

I have once again been summoned by request of thisisnotanalt to the AG political debate. Someone put up an intelligent post in favor of socialism and I'll debate it.

You are all kids who don't understand capitalism or communism. Try talking once you actually have a job, pay taxes, and have your own house. Until then please stop pretending to know anything about what you are talking about.
