In all of my life, I have found that out of all religions, most people who aren't Christian dislike Christianity more out of all the other religions. My question is: why?
1: I think that comment is very offencive, and I am a christain. 2: I think it is because it is the predominate religion of the united states, so people who are not religious are going to target that.
Because Christianty is about doing the right thing and not sinning because the word Christian means "CHRIST LIKE" and that means not doing things like being homosexual, abortion, murder, stealing, lieing, obeying your parents, ect. and the list is very long. Most people don't want to give up there evil ways so thats why.
i think the reason people hate Christianity is because they are lazy and like redbedhead said: they are unwilling to give up their evil ways. they also think that people will try to force it on to them and that is wrong. i still don't know where they get that from. plus in the bible it says that the heart of man is desperately wicked and that people are born that way. its made even worse by society.
I believe that the bible was a novel, written in B.C.E times, by an author who wanted to make some money. Don't you see the tall tales? Noah's Arc, David and Goliath
Okay, I'm not gonna touch that one, it's just gold.
But redbedhead & TenaciousC...there are plenty of other religions that want you to give up your evil ways so to speak. Some of them even preach a way of life that is similar to the way Jesus did. Are you saying they're wrong and Christianity is right?
i dislike all religions they are illogical and provoke racial hatred and intolerance in many impressionable people depending on how you interperet the bible
well i hate them cause they made the "bad words" in my country... like "Faen" wich is "fanden" wich is the "devil" in english....ok not that but....thats not my point..
if you talk about #'s yes Christians are probably the most hated in the world, but thats because there's so many of us. In ratios it is probably Islam because of some of thier extremeists violent tendesies
here's my 3 points on the matter: 1) The only reason many people hate Christians is because "Christians" have mistreated/wronged them. 2) Jesus said: "love your neighbor as yourself" and "love your enemies." A true Christian would follow these things. 3) the basis of Christianity is: "And now only these three remain: Faith, Hope, and Love. And the greatest of these is Love."
