My personal opinion is that guns are just fine. Guns help us provide security for our families if something ever happens, but I want to here your opinions.
I think they're good to collect and use for sport but not fo rmass murders and I think that all people need a gun license before they can even touch a gun and I think their records should be checked in case of any emotional trauma or anything else in that manner. I'm also strongly against the no machine gun law.
Hold on, you don't want mass murder, but you would want to own a machine gun. The machine gun is the easiest way to commit mass murder with a gun...
Why then if they ammended the constitution did some places in the US NOT follow this law and it was LEGAL to serve alcohol for example Maryland. The constitution aplies to all US citizens, it is not federal law. So if they really did ammend the constitution like u said then how does this work.
Well, the states can make their own laws contrary to federal law, but the federal authorities can still arrest people even if they are following state law. In California, it is legal to smoke medical marijuana, but according to federal law, any use of weed is illegal. Many medical marijuana dispenseries have been raided by FBI agents because of this, but state and local authorities can't touch them.
Well, the states can make up their own laws and have their own constitution. But that does not mean that federal agent's have to follow them.
Another example: In DC, there was a spike in gun violence in 2006. In response, DC authorities put a complete gun ban into effect. The result: All forms of violent crimes went through the roof. The gun ban was lifted 6 months later.
Well that could be misinterpereted as a case of statistical manipulation. As guns were made illegal then many people who carried legal guns were suddenly criminals overnight which could explain the spike. Although if you are referring to actual shootings themselves then obviously thats right. However it could also mean that because people couldnt carry guns illegally then they were violent in other ways ie stabbing and beating.
i know people with guns. when i was in school, someone brought it and was going to shoot somebody and then turn it on himself. guns are no joke and letting people have it. look at all our original countries. people have guns and look how they are. especially gangs now. if they are free to have guns, the hole neighborhood will be messed up.
People shoot up schools because at a school, no one is armed but them. As for statistical manipulation, I don't think owning illegal stuff is "violent crime", additionally, much anti-gun research tallies "gun related death" including suicide and self-defense. Guns are the best means for a law-abiding citizen to protect themselves from criminals. Criminals will still have access to fire arms when the law-abiding citizen does not.

You are probably far more likely to be shot carrrying a gun than if you are unared. Most of the time when regular people come into contact with firearms would be in a robbery or a burglary. In these cases if you have a gun you have to 1. Have thecojones to use it, because once its out you have to use it. 2. Make sure you dont kill the guy or you could go to jail.3. Dont get shot yourself. In my experience it is better to hand things over. When i was a kid there was a crew on my estate who jacked the locals stuff phones wallets etc. When i was 11 they mugged my watch but i just handed it over. At first i was pissed off at myself for not fighting back. 2 weeks later the same gang stabbed a 14 year old from my estate who tried to fight back. So for me at the end of the day if you are dealing with criminals carrying weapons yourself out on the street is not a good idea.
Its simple. Run away. And if you cant do that then fighting back is the last resort. Chances are they are a much better fighter than you or at least have more experience.
You can if you analyse the situation quickly enough and are aware of your surroundings. I can remember lots of times when my pace has got me out of truoble.
I think the most important reason to own a gun is to defend yourself from the government.
Why do you think th government are dangerous? And if they were then would you and your gun stand a chance?
