ok,guys i know you might think this is funny, but at 6 o' clock i want ag EVERYONE, to take a bow of silence and remember those americans who lost there lives on this day, canadiens, anyone else participate if you want to.
The people who were working in the two towers didn't die to keep America safe. They simply were in the wrong place at the wrong time. It is sad that they died and I feel we should keep them all in our hearts and minds, but to say they gave their lives to keep us safe is false. The emergency responders who died to try to save their fellow man are heros. I will take a moment of silence for all the innocent who died, but I don't believe those who worked in the towers died for any other reason then them being in the wrong place at the wrong time. You shouldn't allow your emotions to get in the way of your mind.
Agreed, but the responders were also innocent people who died. And they died, working to save people. They could have been like "eace, Im out" But they went in and tried pulling people out. So they died for a noble reason too. They weren't just in the wrong place at the wrong time. They were doing their duties and they were being heroic about it.
Or you could stop to remember the attack on America. You could do it to remember the heroes who DID fight back and who DID give their lives knowing the possible outcomes (was it flight 96? I forget, the one that went down in the fields). Or you could pretend like it didn't happen and live your life like that. But that takes a pretty terrible person in my opinion... I don't care who it is, if you are aware of an event like that, it's not something to just forget about.
Ya I saw that you said they were heroes but right after that you contradicted it by saying they didn't do anything, but where in the wrong place at the wrong time, which belittles their efforts
NO, I said the people working in the two towers were at the wrong place at the wrong time. By this I mean the people whose day job was in one of the offices in the two towers. The emergency responders weren't working out of either ot the towers but rather at differenct preceints around the city.
It doesn't matter. You read me wrong. The emergency responders are heros who many gave their lives to save others. And the people whose day job was at one of the towers were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
I believe all, ER and the people at the wrong place at the wrong time, deserve respect, a moment of silence and our thoughts and care.
wow, a mods going off topic..and also i hope people dont be depressed I just want everyone to take a bow of silence for those who lost theire lives fighting and saving america, the same thing but big difference.
why can't we remember good things instead? we don't do anything for the day that the declaration of independence was signed, or when the emancipation proclamation was signed, or when the allies defeated the axis in WWII. seriously, who wants to be reminded over and over of such a traumatic event?
I don't really care about the event itself. Just the firefighters that risked their lives to save any survivors. They are the ones who deserve this silence.
