What i HATE about these school is that you cant pray at school,but you can kiss,show innapropiatism cuss and alot of things..well i think schools are terribly out of hand with no religions but still very bad things floating around in school.whats your look at these?
You're perfectly within your rights to pray at school.
If they take that away, they're in essence trying to force you to not practice your religion. Which would fall under the "reventing the free practice thereof" part of that amendment. Was it the third? Hell, long time since I've looked over the constitution.
You should have the right to pray/worship in school however the school cannot force others to pray/worship with you.
As for the cracking down on rules thing... my high school is a new school and it is very strict... anything that you can get sent to the principal's office for: swearing, fighting, being late, etc. = in-school suspension/out of school suspension. And this is a public school.
One is Muslim, the ohter, Christian. My Muslim friend brought a copy of the Koran to the public high school, my Christian friend brought a copy of the Bible. They were sitting next to each other, reading their respective books, and someone alerted the principal about it. My Christian friend was given a week's detention and had his Bible taken away, while my Muslim friend wasn't even talked to.

Wow. You should've gone to central office and rubbed it in the faces of the administration that their hired principals are unjust.
I prayed before I ate at school up till 6th grade when my friend got in trouble for doing so and I heard something about separation between church and state. I personally think it's bull.
Man I hate it. What I do though is pray before every test, and the teachers don't care. No one wants it like that at my school. People of other religions could care less as well.
my school incourages praying cos its cristian wat i dont like abou the school is its a racist school theres nether once been a none cristian and ur aloud to be racist :{
Someone told me that a kid once complained about another kid's pro-atheism shirt in my school and he was forced to go to the office to switch it for another one they had. However, I am not sure if this is true, and second, they let kids wear pro-christian shirts unchallenged. Hmm... I need to buy a Pastafarian shirt to test this... and sue them if it is true...
Anyways, it is wrong of the schools to prevent you from praying unless it is disruptive.
