What i HATE about these school is that you cant pray at school,but you can kiss,show innapropiatism cuss and alot of things..well i think schools are terribly out of hand with no religions but still very bad things floating around in school.whats your look at these?
There is a law considering this, it is called separation of church and state. Basically, because America is for religious freedom, public schools owned by state can not have any religious affiliation. This doesn't mean that you can not pray, this just means that the school can not allow teachings of one religion (other than world religions, but it is teaching of ALL religions for an academic reason.) There are different than religious schools, which are either privately owned, or they are owned by a church. Personally, I think that because America's Bill of Rights says freedom of religion, the schools are right in this case. Besides that, what exactly would you prey for in school?
in my neighborhood, u gotta worship God or else people dont like you in school either. but if you start doin all that stuff at school and in public then people will think your kinda weird. they wont jump you or any thing but its not good for you. just do it in your head. or you do all your praying in church and Masque. im not trying to be Religion racist or something and i respect these people, but all i see is christians, catholics, and Muslums. one of my friends said thats because mostly everybody around us is Afr. Am. and Latino. still not trying to be racist.
