What i HATE about these school is that you cant pray at school,but you can kiss,show innapropiatism cuss and alot of things..well i think schools are terribly out of hand with no religions but still very bad things floating around in school.whats your look at these?
Eating Freshfish oh I mean Freshmen? Sounds gross! I don't like the idea of picking of them for praying, but as long as it doesn't constitute hazing, GO FOR IT!
In my school, PDA (public displays of affection), inappropriate attire, and general obscenity are discouraged. I don't know about praying. I don't think praying should be banned from school. However, forcing students to conform to a certain religion in school is wrong in my eyes. You would get in trouble for not reciting the freaking pledge of alleigance at my middle school, ugh. That was bloody insane.
well heres an idea.... How bout you grow a back bone and start praying... If teachers come and tell you to stop tell them to screw off.. Thats what i'd do. If you got suspended for your beliefs you are allowed to go to court. That is an impeachment on human rights, and any North American has the right to there own belief. Just [pray], either in your head or out loud before you eat.

That's what my middle school was like. In high school we don't have to do it; it's just programmed into our brains from doing it every day of grade school for 13 years.

Anyways by the bill of rights you can pray all you want, but also by the bill of rights, if your exercise of that ammendment infringes on the rights of others, than it's not allowed practice, it's more or less how you pray than when or why, and if an education system decides it's distracting to others educations they can do it whenever they like.
I don't understand why you guys have a problem with the of YOUR country! This country was founded by christians. You not saying the pledge is saying that you don't support your country! Be glad you have the freedoms that you do...Not all countries have it! I believe by not simply saying the pledge, you are committing treason!
Prayer doesn't necessarily have to be extravagant or loud, it can be whispered. Couldn't they pray at lunch? No education going on there. The Library? If you follow library rules, no one should have a problem with praying. In class before a test, wouldn't the kids popping all of their knuckles, saying "you can do this" to themselves or repeatedly taping the table with their nails or a pencil be just as distracting as praying?

well th reason we cant pray in school is not because of its distraction,but because of its expressing your religion..the school "Thinks" people will be offended if i practice praying,and another person worships budah.
