Man I dont think it's that big of a deal at all, flame me if you want.

I mean you have to be pretty conceited to make a law against burning something you made. **** it's just a flag, not a human or an animal or something. Or a building. If you bought the flag you should feel free to do with it what you want.

On the other hand if you burned some one elses flag, then sure a fine for destruction of property.

Oh no he disrespected America! Lynch him!

These are not my wars, they are opposed by the vast majority of people in the world, and they are perpetuated by the rich and powerful in society to gain control of oil in the region and to establish a military presence in the area to prevent rising economic rivals such as China and India from becoming potential threats to America's hegemony.

First off, the so-called "rich" you refer to pay for the vast majority of the war (unless you're talking about government). Second, this doesn't seem to support your claim, but that's irrelevant.

Lets see here...

No oil in the Austrian-Hungary Empire... No oil in Germany... No oil in Korea... No oil in Vietnam...

Yep. The only point of war is oil.

You should have the right to burn a flag. Its the same thing with effigies. You may hate the fact there burning an effigy of (insert favorite political figure here), but, atleast in the US, its there freedom of expression, and I can't do anything about it. As long as they don't physically harm anybody, its there right.

Well, it's safe to say that I hate my country of Britain. We're as bad as America. So yes, we all have the right to burn flags. This is a democracy, people. A democracy.
