who thinks communism is good, bad , or misunderstood?
i think communism was currupt by that monster Stalin an therefore, it became hard for that form of government to be truely used as Marx had intended it.

it goes against communism to have a president in the way we do, and the Constitution of the United States prevents it.

What a ridiculous statement. We are revolutionaries and your argument is that its against the law? lol =D

And there will be no presidents...

I really can't say to much about communism because if I lived in a country with it who knows I might like it.

Revolutionaries? Your support a cause that you have no true part in, and just want to stir up controversy. I have lived in Cuba as part of college, and it was hell! Famines, unfair treatment, everyone was poor. Communist countries never succeed, and rarely have good living conditions. Name three good things about Communism that are constant.

I'm sorry, but that wouldn't be allowed by the many limitations in our government. that just isn't something I see happening.

Yes revolutionaries. As in, we plan to overthrow the government. And since we call for an overthrow of a government, do you think we care at all about its laws? Lol...

I have lived in Cuba as part of college, and it was hell! Famines, unfair treatment, everyone was poor.

How do you blame famines on an ideology? This arguments are ridiculous. Cuba was a lot worse before the revolution. That being the case with China and Russia as well. And in the case of Russia, standards of living dropping after the collapse. The life expectancy was 34, now its over 70 and has one of the best health care systems.

And also to mention that many non-socialist third world countries are hell as well =D

Why the f was this thread bumped up? I dont feel like answering all this shit.

The problem with a lot of the communist countries, I know for certain China and Russia, was that hard-line communist economies did not work. Efforts to improve the industrial economy were successful in Russia at great expense to agriculture (for the rest of the USSR's lifespan, they had to have grain imported from America), while China's Great Leap Forward was bottom-line terribly imagined and implemented.

Not so much the ideology itself but the economic policies associated with it i suppose?

This stat may seem impressive but when you consider the fact that the Bolsheviks gained power in 1917 and that communism ended in the USSR in 1990 then of course they are going to experience better life expectancy in that vast amount of time, for example other factors, which had little to do with the communist system itself like improvements in technology around the world enabled better medical treatment etc.

Well, you don't care about laws? without laws we would be blessed to live to 34, and everyone in a communist country is poor, not middle class. The Famine is from a lack of national economy, so they can't import enough. Communism is trying to make everything equal, and that doesn't work. We need motivation to reach new heights. If you expect people to work extra hard for "the good of people and their country", you are extremly naieve.

The US has an embargo on Cuba...

Actually look into the communist theory, please?

Revolutionaries? No. Third party members? Yes.

Wtf? The theory calls for a revolution. We believe in a revolution, we want to overthrow the government. We are revolutionaries.

Revolutionairy - A revolutionary, when used as a noun, is a person who either actively engages in some kind of revolution, or advocates the revolution, with recognition from some government or party which is effectively carrying out a revolution of the same category

According to the goals of the revolution they propose. Usually, these goals are part of a certain ideology. In theory, each ideology could generate its own brand of revolutionaries. In practice, most political revolutionaries have been either liberals, nationalists, socialists, communists, fascists or anarchists.

@Woody, free health care to everyone helps as well.

If a theory calls for a revolution, how come I saw multiple Communist party members running for president. Overthrow the goverment? Not likely. Oh, and free health care is no good.
