I know alot of people avoid thees posts about GOD and Heaven but I just want to know peoples oppions about heaven.Do you belive there is a heaven and if you do what do you think its like?
Too bad you only have one life to live and its either heaven or hell .
Only some people believe that. Others believe in rebirth(like me), some believe you live one life but there is no heaven or hell, and I'm sure their are others who believe something else entirely.

BTW there are many Christians who behave good because they want to go to heaven. But is that what God wants? (if there is a God...) Don't you think that God would prefer people who don't believe in God but behave good because they choose so?
I belive in salvation through Faith not actions, unlike the Catholic Church. Those are the Christians that you are talking about, they also don't focus on what is important in christianity.

I'd like to contruibute and back you guys up, but true be told I only know John 3:16, but I don't need to memorize the bible to belive in Jesus

I am a firm believer in the fact that there might be no heaven or hell. At this point in time I would say it is a made up bed time story told to a child years ago when his goat died

I do not believe in any form of afterlife. Nor in reincarnation or whatever. You die, and the chemical reactions in your brain stop, so you're consience stops, and you die.
Nothing in the real world explains the idea of reincarnation. Life after death simply doesn't exist, and if you believe that any intelligent creator will resurrect you just because you spent 2 hours every Sunday sucking up to God, poring over "religious texts", and talking to yourself (no organic creature can possibly hear the prayer of every single worshipper on Earth) before you eat, then you are somewhat delusional. No Offense.
Then killa where are you going to go when you die ?
The same place as everyone else, no where in particular, when you die you are dead, your body could be buried or any other form of funeral but you do not go to heaven or any other afterlife. No matter how many times you ask that question the answer will never be heaven.
I believe in: GOD the father, GOD the SON and GOD the Holy Ghost. Since I believe in the Holy Ghost I also believe that Satan rules the earth, roames the earth,"looking for those to devour" and that there is a heaven. GOD is spirit, we can't see him as he is because even Moses was told by Him to turn away and you can see the back of ME. After that Moses hair turned white. What this means to me is that GOD is pure light and this makees sense from the scientific view because there is natural occuring nuclear activity everywhere on earth. Heaven is a real place just as the garden of Eden is a real place. We can't see it because our natural eyes would burn out of their sockets. Satan is real because of the fall from GOD's grace when Satan believed himself to be above GOD, the father and was promptly kicked out of heaven. Satan still answers to GOD and Satan still rules the earth until JESUS' return when He will hold the White Throne Judgement. All believers who died before the time of Rapture will be judged first, then all of us who will be "caught up in the air", "that is raptured", will be judged second and then Satan and his cronies will be judged and will be Cast Into The Lake of Fire... then, every knee will bow and every voice shall proclaim that Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords. Revelation 21:6-8 says, ...I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of Life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his GOD
