I saw yet another video of a group of protestors burning the American flag. The disgust me! Please tell me someone else out here agrees that it is wrong and should be illegal.
I would never burn the flag like that, I am a patriotic American.
However, if somebody says its illegal, then I would take every flag I can find and burn them in a pile of my front lawn. It wouldn't mean anything anymore.
The flag is a piece of cloth, its the constitution that's important.
[quote]Flag Burning the flag i guess is a way to express your freedom of speech but honestly thats symbolism for burning america...you could consider it treason
Burning a flag and a country is diffrent but ya it should be considered treason but then again it is freedom of speech and if you don't like America go to a diffrent country...
I don't think that burning the American flag should be legal however banning it would go against the 1st Amendment. I don't think in any type of oppressive government and if they start on the 1st Amendment, how long would it take to go through the constitution?
A flag simbolizes a country, its people and their ideals.
If they say burning a flag is freedom of speech they are wrong, fredom has it limits, and something without limits turns bad, example an adiction. Burning a flag its not inside those limits.

First and foremost wtf is with all these zombie threads!?!
Second why is it not freedom of speech? No one is getting hurt. It may piss people off but they have a right to burn the flag. Personally I think giving a simple flag this much importance is kinda fucked up in the first place
My opinion is that you should be allowed to do what you want. However, you keep that to yourself. I don't want to see my countries' flag burning, and that will make me want to take action. You shove it in my face, and I'm flooring you.
You keep that personal. Do it with your anti-American friends, but not where everyone who might not share your views can see them. They might be rather quick to action.
So, what you're saying is that if you want something to change, the best way to do it is to sit by and let everyone else do whatever they want to you? Awesome.
The best way to change this country because you hate it is to get the f*ck out. You don't like it, leave. We aren't stopping you.
And many people also put peanut butter on their vag so a dog licks it. Your argument is invalid; you cannot justify an opinion on something by saying that people have an opinion of it. It is redundant.
What the hell? I don't see where sex came into play here.
As for the rest, it's on the same level as public Nazism. I don't care if you do in your home, just get your a*s out of the streets. Your protest is going to get you screamed at, and that's about it. And punched. And shot. And for what? Nothing.
Not at all. Burning a flag means you have a strong disagreement with the country. Clearly, you don't simply disagree with it for the sake of it. Theres a reason. You might be burning the flag in protest of the war.
Then you protest the war, not everything your country stands for. That's the most asinine thing I've ever heard of. That flag is not a representation of the war you are fighting, it is a representation of the country you live in. You may as well burn your flag because your neighbor called the cops for calling you a f*g.
The best way to change this country because you hate it is to get the f*ck out. You don't like it, leave. We aren't stopping you.
Why should I move away from my homeland because I disagree with the policies our leaders are making?
This goes for everything. No one cares, no one is going to do anything about it. You're just making yourself look like an idiot, and provoking people to kill you.
I <3 contradictions!
plz let this godwin's law die down a bit thank you.
