i think its a good thing smoking is a health hazard even if u just breath the smoke

I think it's a great thing. It's banned in my city (in Texas of all places) and it makes going out great. No more smokey bars or restaraunts. However when you go out of town, and they allow smoking, it seems to be that much worse. Kinda wierd, eh?

Although, I do have tons of friends who smoke. Nothing personal, just a preference of mine.

i hate smoking and I don't want to have to smoke the 2nd hand next to me.

Smoking is not good for you in the first place, so I don't think it should be encouraged.

Ban smoking! Smoking kills millions of people. Those who get emphysema, suffer and slowly die.

Ban smoking in restaurants, libraries, museums, malls, oil rigs, everywhere!

I'll be realistic now. People can smoke if they want, only if there is no smoking in public places. Sadly, that will be near impossible to accomplish everywhere.

When someone smokes in a public place, others will inalate the smoke, wich is bad to their health. Therefore, banning it on public places is good. If people want to die earlier, let them, not others.

6 months ago they banned smoking in bars. Now the only places u can smoke is at home, in a car, or outside. Or at least in WV

I think it is a good think. I personally hate smoke. It makes me couph.

i hate smoke. my lungs are bad as it is and i really dont like to have to breath in the second hand smoke of some person who doesnt care about his/her health or others around him/her. im just disappointed that they didnt make this law a long time ago.

but i wonder what will happen if smoking was banned all together?

Yeah it's a bad thing cause the person who is smoking is making everyone around him to smell that smoke and that is second hand smoke.

yah i guess its bad but there should still be smoking areas for those who do smoke
