The store was a private company and has the right to refuse service to anyone. This kid is going to need to get his name changed, something tells me his finding a job will not be easy.
But then wouldn't it be descrimination not to hire someone bacause of their name? That's like not hiring someone because they are of a different race, no?
Why would naming your child Adolf Hitler be a bad thing? It'd be no different if one was to name their kid Saddam Hussein, or George Bush
Well, for one thing, the man was looking like a complete Neo Nazi. He had a swatztica tatoo on his wrist i think, another child named "Arian" as in the arian race, and now he wanted his child to be named Adolf Hitler. Thats why the refused to make the cake when asked to put the name on it.
If it were me though, i would just make the dumb cake and just get them out of there and not make a big deal!!!
I just think that people can name their kids anything they want to, the kid may not like it, but they can always change their name if they so choose.

Also the thuing about the kid is, thay MOST of these kinds of "roblems" the kids tend to take on the same veiws of there parents. There was one incedent, where one lady had twins, and they had a talent for singing (they were known as the next Olson Twins) But, by the "teachings" of their mother, they sung songs like "mud people" ect ect... Some of these people are in such a backward sociaty that they belive they are the "right" ones.
ya well who are you to be questioning other ppl beliefs??? I mean if they believe hitlers right, its pretty much like us christians believing there is a God.. Is there one? probably not... I mean its nice to have faith, and something to fall back on just in case everything in your life goes wrong, but truthfully? Is there this huge being out there thats gonna save us all, when there is over 10 religions saying different things about this "God", and some religions believing in over 100 "Gods"... Hitler, to some was right, and to others was wrong. I admit what he did to Jews was horrible... But how he helped the nation was... impressive.. He managed to get all his land back, and reunite Austria, and reunite with Prussia, just like he said he would. All this without causing major conflict. Until of course he invaded France... this is all just besides the point. Hitler was a great man, and a major d0uche bag at the same time. We would not be where we were today without how he worked his scientists, and what information he found for weaponry, and science... So saying that just because Hitler was a name in someones name is like saying because your middle name is Isaac, George, Fred, etc... is a felony, therefore everyone hates you... You know he probably will grow up believing that Hitler was right, but are you honestly gonna protest because of his beliefs.. Everyone on this site is so frickin Judgemental, and u guys should stop being major dicks to ppl like this. How would u feel if we made fun of you, or felt "sry" for u because you had a name of a historical figure in your name??? Cuz thats pretty much what its all coming down to at this moment... I just saw an article on the boy being refused a birthday cake. I think it is dumb that they refuse to inscribe "Adolf Hitler" on the boy's birthday cake. Anyway, a name like that means that the parents are idiotic Hitler worshipers and that boy is going to have problems over something as ridiculous as a name.
Well, the storekeeper has his own rights too actually. What if he has( or his relatives) have in some way been affected by Hitler.

And, though Hitler did extremely bad things( I for one hate the man because of the harm he did), but his sense of nationalism, and helping Germany rebuild itself is well... quite alright, Isn't that what politicians today term "atriotism", "nationalism" etc. I admire his courage to stand up to the Treaty of Versailles. this is the dumbest thing i have ever heard in a long long time. those parents are idiots naming their child after one of the worst human beings in the history of the world. Hitler is lucky hes not alive today becuase id end his life myself
