First, a bit of back story before I post the rules of joining and playing, just to give you an idea of the story that will be.

A tall, dark tower loomed over the barren planes surrounding it. At the top stood a tall man dressed in a dark cloak, blowing in the breeze behind him. He silently cursed to himself, because although the surrounding plain was without any life at all, he knew that beyond the tall mountains surrounding the castle, the plains were alive with grass and wildlife.
"No matter." he thought to himself. "It will all be dead soon. All in good time." He stepped off the edge and returned to the center of the roof, where a small pedestal held a small half circle. He pressed a hidden button, and the half-circle slid open, revealing what he intended to hide until the time was right. Five small polyhedral shapes rested in their own place, none of them touching the others. The man himself had another one in his pocket, he would never let it go. The power felt too nice to him. The man laughed to himself, he knew that soon he would rule all of Helmgard with the power of the shapes.
Suddenly, behind him, a hidden door leading back into the tower burst open. A knight, dressed in chain mail armor emerged. "Your through Granwalt! Your evil terror ends now!" he spoke in a raised voice, nearly screaming.
"How exactly do you plan on stopping me, Sothe? I hold all the chips, and you hold none!"
"Preposterous! Just because you have the dice of power does not mean you cannot be beaten!"
"Even without the dice I could defeat you, Sothe, and I intend to prove it!" With that the man in the cloak, apparently named Granwalt, pulled a book out from behind him. The brave knight Sothe charged forward, his two-handed sword raised high above his head. Bravery in his mind, he let out a shrill cry.
Granwalt quickly opened his book, moved his fingers in a strange pattern, and then cried out; "Raldi!" A beam of pure energy emerged from his free hand, and struck the knight square in the chest. The knight fell to the ground, sword still in his hand.
Granwalt tucked the book away back into his cloak, and walked toward the dark knight."Ha! Wheres your bravery now, Sothe?"
Sothe clutched the sword in his hand, moved it back, and then threw it forward, aimed straight at Granwalt. "Right here!' he cried. The dark wizard simply moved to the side. "Ha! You missed. Your still a worthless knight, no matter how brave you may be."
"I wasn't... aiming at you... Granwalt!" he said, dying. The sword lurched past the wizard, and straight into the pedestal. "No!" cried the wizard. The polyhedral shapes sprang up from the pedestal, and each flew off in five separate directions. "You see, Granwalt. Even when I'm dying... I still...Fight for whats right... That's, what it means... To be a true knight..." Then the knight's body convulsed, and he died.
Granwalt walked back to the pedestal, cursing to himself. "Knew I shouldn't have cast 'defy gravity' on those dice... No matter. I still have one with me. And it's the most powerful of all. All that annoying knight did was prolong the unevadable. Helmgard, would soon be his...

If you people can just read the first few pages before listing your want to join, then all of your questions will be answered. I'll try to help Silver out a little bit here.

to TYofLER: Read the first page. You will be added onto Silver's death list as soon as he sees the post. Also, if you DID in fact read the first page, than you would know that the spells you can perform are parts of your "Perks" section. So to have the spell that you want, get rid of one of your &quoterks" and add on the spell to it. Or you don't have to, and Silver will get to it once he gets back on.

to zillacutz: I do think it's too late to join on as an ACTIVE character right now, but you can certainly build a character, and Silver will add you on to the Death list.

This place sure did perk up as of late. That's great! I'm glad to see people have taken an interest in RPing. Thank you for explaining Straight Jacket. I will add all of you (In the order you posted.) To the death list immediatly. Upon a spot opening, the first person on the list will receive a post in their Profile (So keep checking it occasionally.). I'm sorry for not updating guys, I went back when the show came on, and when it was over and came back my parent's were on playing poker. (I have to share a computer.) So understand if I can't update. Thanks! I'll update in just a minute, for sure. As for your character sheets, you will have to change them as you are notified. I don't want to deal with a dozen character sheets who won't even be playing for a while. Thanks for understanding.

Xenocrates
As you approach the man, he stops waving, turns his back, and RUNS towards a back ally. Once he reaches the shadows, he turns back and stares at you. He holds out one finger and motions for you to follow him.

Narniar
*You have used up half or your MP points due to using your mind so much.* As you finish casting a spell on the door to the prison room, you take a quick look at your surroundings. The lighting isn't too much different than the last ones. Dim lights, and concrete walls. As far as you can see, their is no one else in the room. In one corner are a few barrels and crates. You see many cobwebs, some with spiders still on them on the ceiling and on a book rack to your side. You notice two other doors in this room besides the one you came out of. One is made of wood, and does not appear to be locked. The other one is a heavy iron door, securely locked. You can hear soft crying on the other side.

Kyle
As you pull out your three beers, the drunken shop keeper nearly shouts with glee. "O*Hick*h you got booze! Give it h*Hick!*ear, I'll pay you with 8 Cro*Hick!*wns for it!"

I prep my crossbow with a bolt, and follow him into the shadows. I still don't say anything yet. I don't like the looks of him as of now.

...wait, Armorkage, spiders?!? dude, that's just plain nasty!

TYofLER did you even BOTHER to read any of the above? Your in a death line, not in the rpg yet. Their is a que.

Farniar
Using your mind, you easily take control of a spider, and march it into a crack in the weak wooden door. Using your minds eye, you see what it sees. You see a long hallway, with four iron doors lining the side. At the end of the hall, you see a staircase. Turning your head (That is to say, the spiders head.) ever so slightly to the left, you see a man sitting in a chair, reading a book with a royal blue cover. Suddenly your magic wears off. You know that spiders aren't known for their magic properties, but it gave you enough information. Your stomach growls, and you suddenly remember your hunger. You scoop up some spiders off the bookcase and shove them into your mouth. They taste pretty well, actually. But as you swallow them, your stomach give a large heave. You let out a loud cry in pain, as you suddenly remember your stomach demands only the very best in food. You suddenly hear the man stand. "What was that?" You try to hide, but your stomach pain stops you. The man crashes through the door, "It's you. Die you freak!".

ROUND 1
[7] Thief Wizard
[9] Farniar HP:8/8 MP:4/7 (STUNNED 4 TICKS)

The thief Opens his book and shouts out, "Mael Montty!" A flash of stars shot out of his outstretched hand, and shocks you in the stomach. You try to dodge, but your stomach pain prevents you (Doing two damage.)

ROUND 1
[13] Farniar HP:6/8 MP:4/7
[14] Thief Wizard

Your up, for your first combat. Review the combat rules around page eight or so.

Xenocrates
You follow the man into the shadows, making sure to load a bolt as a precautionary. Once he's sure your both out of sight, he turns and talks to you. He speaks in a small, hushed voice. "I've got something you might want." he says. "Valuable, powerful magic. And it fits in your pocket." He pulls a small box out. "I like you already. I can tell, just by looking at ya. Your one of those hero types, real nice. The kind that would go out to rescue a princess in distress, a real story book knight. Don't lie, it's all in your face. So I'll show ya something I should be guarding with my life." He opens the box, revealing a small orb. The orb seems to glow with life. "It's more than just for looks, my friend. Well, I guess you could use it as a gift to a pretty girl, but it makes a much better weapon. It's so strong, I once saw it cut through a dozen orcs with only one cast. Just say the words, and it will blast a hole into any wall or foe. What is this word? You'll have to purchase it to find out. Now I don't know how much money you got stranger, so if you can't afford 40 crowns, I'll trade ya for whatever you got in your pocket."

Okay, a few things... I assume you just made a mistake when saying to eat the spiders. It does clearly go against your quirk. Second, going against your own character will always have a severe punishment. Your stomach is still in much too much pain to even fathom casting a spell at him at that time. So you wouldn't be able to do anything until after you were no longer stunned. This makes it your turn now, and all of the above is true. (I'm not sure exactly what your action was. Did you say you wanted to attack him using a telekinetic backup?)

Okay, look. You can't just invent facts as the game progresses just to get out of a tight situation. You went against your quirk, that YOU decided upon, in an obvious way. Either accidently or on purpose, you must suffer the consequences. You can't just say you don't use magic, because to me that IS magic. If you wanted to be immune to the effects of shock, paralysis, or sleeping, you would have had to have a Perk for each immunity. You don't, so you can figure out some other way to deal with it.

Sorry I was gone so long. I didn't have my computer with me at the time, so...yeah.

to the man: "Well, I don't see much that I have, aside from 3 beers. I can give you those, as well as anything else I may have that you wish."

...wait, what else DO I have on me then? I think it's just tht, and the bolts for the crossbow. But I kinda need those...

Armor is still playing... It's kyle I'm worried about. But yes, you are next on the list.

Xenocrates
"Doh, I already made a deal. I'll take them." He says as he takes your three beers. "Here's the orb, and the words to activate it." he says as he hands you a slip of paper, and the orb. "Make sure to use it properly!" He then runs off, to who knows where. You look at the slip of paper, and read the words in your head. Tana... Quen... Zinc... Interesting piece of literature right there. Taking the items, you walk back to town square. Everything except the man is still the same.

Farniar
"Darn right your sick! Sick in the mind if you think I'm falling for that!"
