You got in backwards. Republicans are more for the people and more for the Government back off, and we are also for less taxes. Democrats are more for big government and more taxes.

I dunno how Clinton got into the ring but I don't really care either. I liked Clinton, I somewhat like Obama, and I'll give Bush a couple things but I won't hug him if asked. Although I'm technically neither Dem or Rep, since I don't really care for political parties and just go with who I think is better overall, I think I would prefer Obama over Bush at the moment. I haven't exactly seen the future so I don't know what Obama is going to do(ruin the world or get us going) so I can't exactly say 'my vote on Obama!'.
I think this thread was taken over by Reps so I'll probably get yelled at for 'not liking Bush'...but oh well, we can't all think the same, then we'd be...like a hive mind o_O That'd be weird.

What I love about this country is that we have freedom to do anything lawful. I hate it when anything abates that freedom. That is why abortion and gay marriage should be legal, because those place regulations on a person's personal life. it's not regulation or very limited socialism that is bad, it's unfair socialism and regulations that barge into personal decisions. that is why i am disappointed in modern-day republican politicians as a whole, because they don't allow very limited, fair socialism that saves lives and the only regulations that they want limit our lawful freedom.
